Remarks

Good faculties, faculties provide study materials and important questions which is useful for atudents to clear the semester. Worst food. The quality of the food is really worse and also if the food is spoilt they wont arrange food (for hostellers). No hygiene.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is decided by Anna University and it is fixed. It is good. For the first semester the subjects are common for all the departments. Semester comes every 6 months. And we should pay the exam fees for each semester.

Placement Experience

4

Yes, the placements are really good in this college. They will somehow make you get atleast one offer if you have nil arrears. And they will provide lot of trainings and also study materials. Students who have one or two arrears can also attend few companies. And they will allow for internships also.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very expensive for management students but for counselling students it is feasible. For management students the fee is around 140000. Scholarship is available for Christian students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is given for Christian students and also for students who are first graduate in theor family. Loan facility is also available. You can pay the fees by applying loan and you must submit the chalan in the college.

Campus Life

2.5

Lab facilities are good in this college and there is no restriction. Students can get permission and can use the laboratories any time. And this college is best for sports students. Excellent training is given for sports students.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year on inaugration day they call few senior students to come and motivate the freshers. They will share their experience in the college. And aluminis come and conduct few workshops and also we can contact the aluminis to ask doubt related to their final year projects.

Admission

I got seat via management.if you are joining via management you need to pay some amount in order to book your seat for a particular course. And you 12th percentage should be minimum 60%. After paying the fees you can directly go to the college on joining date.

Faculty

4

The faculties are so kind and they will help a lot except a few and it depends on the department. I am from CSE department and by faculties are really awesome. They will give all the important questions for the semester exam.

Placement Experience:

B.tech students will be eligible after they complete their credits before the 3rd year and usually that is the period during which they will be eligible for placements. For integrated M.tech it might be after the 4th year in 5th year, they could get a year for internships which is good for students. This might be considered as my interest in this course. The placement is around 95 percent. My plans after getting the degree is to become a highly skilled person and to get a job in google. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Qualcomm, etc place our campus. There are no such companies that visited and made no offers.

Placement Experience:

In my college placement start from 7th semester, students get eligible to sit in drives. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some core firms visited and gave good no of offers. Highest package was around 10 LPA and average near 4.5 LPA depending on profile, mostly software dev, testing and few core engineer role. Around 70% students got placed last year, rest go for higher studies or other prep. My plan after finishing degree is to first try campus offer then aim for higher studies if I not satisfied. Overall placement is decent but still more core companies should come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

ECE is a core subject in the upcoming technologies like the semiconductor field etc. which is why I chose this branch. VIT has a lot of labs and equipment that enables a person to learn and grasp practical knowledge faster. The teaching methods include using a PPT and using a white board . Sometimes flip classes are done when students explain topics. The 2nd open book test is the toughest in difficulty level when compared to exam 1 and the final test.
