Remarks
Talking about negative points, my college is in sort of permanent faculties. Guest faculties are appointed to complete the syllabus. And the hostel food is totally mess. And there's a less campus placements.
Course Curriculum Overview
Rajendra University provides U.G. in Arts,Science and commers. It provides Gym B.Sc. in Computer science,chemistry, mathematics, physics,botany and zoology honors. It provides B.A. in History,Politicl Science, Geography, Economics,English,Odia,Education,Hindi, Philosophy and Sanskrit. It also provide accounting honors in B.Com. It aso has integrated B.Ed. M.Ed. , M.A,M.Sc.,M.phil. and regular B.Ed.
Placement Experience
Honestly I'm still studying in the college ,therefore I don't know much about placements and job opportunity but it has a good name and many firms comes for student's placements. My college doesn't provide any internship but it provides many types of stipend for students.
College Events
Many events are celebrated in my college like Ganesh puja,Gandhi jayanti, Independence day, republic day,Annual Function and every government events Even this year our college is celebrating it's platinum jubilee as it completes it's 75 years.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As my college has self-financing courses like Computer science it takes about 35000 for it. Leaving self-financing courses the fee structure is quite feasible. Even a poor student can take admission as the fees are low.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college has a wide range of scholarship. Some of them are for Schedule casts and shedule tribes so poor students can get good fecility and can read properly. Besides that there's different scholarship for meritorious students. That is students who are eligible and merit for Biju Yuba shashaktikarana yojana will get a Laptop as scholarships with proper study materials and software preloaded in it.
Campus Life
Talking about extracurricular activites my college organises Dance competitions, Singing competitions,debates,seminars,Redcross camps,NCC camps,Free eye-checkup camps etc. It has labs for every subject that requires a lab. The labs has all the required equipments and computer science lab has many computers with Internet Connections. In sports it provides Cricket, Football, volleyball, badminton,kabaddi etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are quite helpful. They help the juniors in study and gives the information about where the departments are. They also helps in seminars and projects or assignments. The passed out students are also connected through alumni networks as in their whatsapp groups or different social media platforms.
Admission
I applied through SAMS website and I had chosen Rajendra College for my second choice and got selected for Rajendra College. Then I went to college on the given date and completed my admission at the instructed room and did payments.
Faculty
My college is sort of regular faculty of all subject. Guest faculties are appointed to teach the students. More regular faculties should be appointed for proper teaching. Apart from faculties more peons and care takers are also needed.
