The scholarship is given by the telangana government by Epass and pay Rs.21000 anually for an individual student.

Campus Life

Virtually all students in college reported that a core of extracurricular activities , including sports, performing arts, were awesome and i always showed my best in it. In Gender Ratio its like 30%Girls and 70% Boys as ours is an engineering college and boys show a lot of intrest in it.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

I applied to very few colleges in the first place, most of them are nearby my surrounding towns/cities , I applied to SVSC as well, but first preference was JPNC , because at that time , I honestly have no idea about engineering and my father forced me to join here. I felt this college needs much improvement in terms about curriculum and subjects. I applied for this college hoping to get placed, which didn't happen. Admission process of this college is pretty much simple and no tests or eligibilty is needed, just get allotment order or get college seat under management quota. However you need to get a rank below 80,000 in order to get into this college, and overall admission process is pretty much same as other colleges....Read More
