Remarks
It is doing well but there is a huge scope for improvement on almost all sectors of the college. Overall the atmosphere is healthy and lively. One can both learn and enjoy at the same time not just with respect to academics but overall growth as an individual.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is standardized according to the norms of aicte. Also semester wise exam takes place followed by 3 mid sem test, out of which best 2 test marks are considered in every semester. Practical exams also takes place just after the final semester examination.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunity are very good at our college. Our training and placement cell works just fine under our chief head and he managed to bring many great companies. Almost 80 to 85 % students get placed with average of 3-4 lack per annum. And there are companies like VM ware which visit our campus. No, this is a disappointing thing but gradually they are trying to change and encourage more and more students to go for internship so that overall quality of knowledge can improve. As a result this will give them better placements.
College Events
There are various events like Aakshank, Invento and various NSS events. This are organisation like CSI for updating students with recently used technology. Our cultural fest is Aakshank which is a 4 days event consisting of dance, drama, singing, rock band performance, fashion shows as day event and star night and DJ night as night event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our batch entered the fee was feasible and genuine but gradually we all can feel the sense a corruption among administration and they have increased fees of college and hostels significantly even though there have been no as such development or improvements in any sense.This is biggest loop hole of our college.It is a self financed government college so there is too much corruption and politics involved which can be highly irritating and heart breaking for students. We can't fight it, we have to learn to deal with it no matter how much you hate it.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship on bases on students merit as well as category they belong to. Also, scholarship for minority is available. There are also loan facility available for students who have financial problem Medhavi scholarship is also provided by the mp govt on the basis of JEE Mains rank.
Campus Life
As far as extracurricular activities are concerned they is a sports club available at University level for not college level where one has to give and pass the trials in order to join them. Badminton, football, throw ball, chess, basketball and other indoor and outdoor games are available.
Hostel Facilities
The planning is very good but the quality of building is slightly poor. We live in new building but a punch on wall in enough to break down the plaster but its fine since it's a government building. The facilities are not good, we really have to fight for every single thing that we have and it is completely on mood of our warden and then there is always biasness for tender passing for various things and students therefore does not fairly receive services for which they paid.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college conducts alumni meet and also our alumni and senior students help the college to bring more and more companies to the college. But since our college is not that old therefore help is limited as they have not yet been to the most influential position yet. Seniors are very helpful and a great source of motivation.
Admission
Firstly, I gave JEE Mains. Then, applied for online counselling for the government colleges in MP according to priority. Then I got IET DAVV, one of the prestigious government autonomous institutes of MP.
Faculty
Faculty of the college are well experienced and teaches with practicality and have their unique way to teach students. They mainly emphasizes on the practical implementation of ideologies and also focuses on the 360° development of a student.
