Remarks :

The college is very strict. There is a good ambience for studying. Studies are the only focus of college. Extra curricular activities are not getting deserved priority. Hostel rules are so strict. College campus is clean.

Course Curriculum Overview :

College is affiliated to KTU University. We have 8 semesters. Each semester got 6 subjects. Each subject has 6 modules. In 8th sem students must do their project. Internship is a part of the carriculum.

Placement Experience :

The college doesn't provide you internship opportunities. You need to find it yourself. The college provides placement drives. It also conducts job training programs. The only major company that recruiting from the college is Infosys.

College Events :

Each department has department days. The union is elected from the students and the union got union day. In each year college counduct arts day and sports day. College days are celebrated in the even semester. Onam is also celebrated in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is little bit expensive, especially the hostel fees. The fees has to be paid yearly. The fee for first year was 96000 and after that 75000 per year. This includes union, PTA, internet.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No loans are availed by the college. You have to find it yourself. College offers some scholarships. In information technology if you have 75% above marks 12th physics, chemistry, maths subjects then you are eligible for 25000 rs scholarship per year.

Campus Life :

The labs are good. The college has football ground, basketball ground, cricket nets, volleyball court, badminton court, gym, table tennis court. Each department has its own labs. There is a faculty for physical education.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel good infrastructure facilities. The hostel fees is too expensive. The rent for 3 month is 5500rs. Food got extra charge too. The mess bill will be around 4000 per month. It varies. Hostel is clean. The rules are very strict.

External Expense : Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna :

There is alumni association. It has allumnis from different regions of world. Alumni association conducts annual meets. They are helpful to the college. They conduct students interactive sessions each year.

Admission :

I got admission through KEAM entrance exam rank list. I am studying in information technology that was my first option on application. College also has management quota. I had entrance rank of 30000 above.

Faculty :

We have good faculties here. They are so friendly with students and complete the syllabus on time. In our department we have 20 teaching staffs and 3 lab assistants. Some of the faculties got doctorate.

Many students get college placement in all years. Some students get bank jobs and other construction industries and also colleges give an internship program in Taiwan for students with good cgpa and a Mark and also a stipend.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Placement Experience:

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Placement for Students are provided on the final semester that is the 8th semester. Placement for mechanical engineering fluctuates based on the outside industry depending on the market. The companies visiting are titan, Sutherland, Wipro etc. The highest package was 14Lpa and the average is 2.5Lpa.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
