Remarks

The management makes sure that the students be given a cool, healthy environment as a breakthrough college life opportunity as the senior faculty professor acting as a bridge.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is up to the mark with greater emphasis given to the practical implementation of the core engineering concept. The faculty has got sufficient corporate exposure aiding in teaching the best way to becoming a smart engineer in competitive job scenarios. The course is divided into 8 semesters with electives in a few semesters focused on the requirements of engineering jobs in the future.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of the college is the USP of JBIT as the college management makes sure that all the average students perform well in the campus drive of placements. The faculty also extend extra help in boosting the potential of the student to crack well the interview sessions.

College Events

3

The events are organized by the management of JBIT college to make the boring education more entertaining with the annual meet up of the student's fraternity with the guest who happens to be of the corporate sector or music and movie industry. In this way, students get to learn more about the lifestyle of corporate culture via guest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in this college are segmented into two broad areas including co-curriculum/ extra curriculum, medical insurance/ internet usage/ industrial visits with soft skill development for the students amounting to some INR 78200 annually for complete four years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Scholarship details apply only to tuition fees. This scholarship is limited to the students of the first year with the percentage of 60-70% getting 10%,71-80% getting 15%,81-90 earning 20%, and for students having marks above 90% getting 25%.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is nice with occasional get together of the student interaction with students participating in sports, innovation in lab demo in the seminar. Students also volunteer for making a workable robotics prototype. Meetup of JBIT students with engineering college of other states.

Alumni/Alumna

With social and professional network sites like LinkedIn, the alumni are in constant touch with the management driving good placement opportunities as and when required. On the other hand, final year student shares their experiences with the alumni getting first-hand advice on best job placements.

Admission

I got the admission by first having brief counseling with the coordinator manager of the college. In the counseling session we were told about the best key points of joining the college with due weight-age given to the campus placement. The college makes sure that no final student is left behind the placement drive and students are simultaneously groomed to successfully step in the professional life.

Faculty

4.5

The college faculty have sound engineering knowledge as many of them have done corporate projects prior to joining the college as professors. The professors spend greater time in the lab to balance theoretical concepts into practical implementations. The mix of practical knowledge in sync to the theory books makes the concept of engaging for the students. In addition, the professor helps the final year students in their job of choice.

Life at RCE is an exciting account of wisdom, advancement and celebration. My experience at RCE Roorkee has taught me one fundamental thing – life is unpredictable. It might be good, it might be bad, it might be weird, and it might not interest you, but expect anything to happen. For example, you might have a wonderful job this moment, and be fired the very next moment.

I gave IIT-JEE for entering into one of the topmost institutes of India. I secured an almost closing rank of Computer Science Engineering at IIT Roorkee ( around 730s ). I opted for this college because I aimed at getting CSE as my branch and According to my rank, I found Roorkee as the best option, also I didn't want to go to IIT Madras or Kharakpur, so amongst the top seven IITs , Roorkee became cup- of-my tea.
