My college

The college is good. It is number college of uptu. The infrastructure is good. We have good classrooms. A bit improvement can be made in faculties. College is very helpful and cares for each student. There is a problem for girl students. There hostel gates close at 8 o clock. It is very early and should be made a bit lineant.

I am in computer science brance. Course curriculum is very good. The subjects are very interesting. We have 2 semesters every year. And 2 class tests per semester. Total marking is done adding semester marks and ct marks.

Placements are good in Cse and It branch. In other there are not very good placements. Many companies come for internships and job opportunities. Recently the maximum on campus placement was 14 lakh per annum.

There are various events celebrated. There is college fest encore. There is alumni meet convergence. There is technical fest parakram. There is sports fest shouryotsav. And many other branch fests that are conducted by particular branches. There are various other events celebrated like Independence day, teachers day, republic day, Gandhi jayanyi etc.

The fee structure is very feasible. It is very affordable 60k per year academics fees. And hostel and mess fees are also feasible. The hostels are average and we get shared rooms in other years and single room in final year. Hostel charges are 10k per year and mess charges are approx 30k per year.

Yes we are provided with a scholarship. College helps us in filling scholarship procedures. All students whose parents income is less than a certain amount are provided scholarship. There is also fee waiver scheme under which top rankers of every branch have to give very minimum fees.

There are many clubs in this college. There is a club swaranjali for students interested in singing, there is club for dancing, clubs for drams, club for coding, there is also a social club parmarth where we teach poor slum children, etc. These clubs helps in a lot of improvement in extra curricular activities.

There are different hostels for different year students. Infrastructure in good in all. First year has very good infrastructure hostel. And if we compare second year hostel comes at last. Third year and final year students have 5 hostels and they stay combined in them.

Alumni network is very good. There is an alumni meet every year. There is a ln alumni association in which we have president and vice president and student representatives. There is also a fb page where we all are connected. All alumni are very helping and we can ask for any help and they try to provide us all the help they can.

I applied for uptu entrance exam. I gave the exam. A ranklist was made according to number of correct answers. After that there was counselling process in which we can fill our preferences of which college to take and which branch to opt for. Then the college was alloted based on preferences and ranks.

Some of the faculty is very good. The interaction between student and teachers is very good. It provides a friendly environment where we can share our thoughts and ideas with our teachers. And they are also supportive in other fields also like hackathons and competitions.
