College review

The only issue about the college is the location. Infrastructure around is not that good and good eating options are very few. Teachers and student organizations are the positive part, which help groom you into a better and above average engineer. Regular funding for projects really help us by removing the burden of project expenses.

The course curriculum is fairly decent, it's autonomous so teachers have added a lot of new things. Exam structure changes with every year, but it's pretty convenient, with continuous evaluation tests every week.

Our college does have a training and placement cell which trains students for placement and interviews. Recently our department has got 100% placement with great packages. Our college has an internship cell too which helps students find internships at various companies.

Our college has its annual fest named Gandharva. It's a 4 day event with 2 sub events, Perception and Sci-Tech. Sci Tech is a science exhibition where all the students display their projects, and in they end all the best projects get awards. Perception is the cultural part, with dance performances and singing, drama etc.

Fee structure is feasible, it's around 1.5 lakh per year. Compared to other colleges in pune, it's a little higher, you can pay in 2 installments as well. Accounts department is very helpful, with a lot of modes of payment.

Students under reserved category get fees compensation. Students who had done well in 12th also get scholarships and other rewards. But mostly there isn't much scope for scholarship if you are from management quota.

There are a lot of extra curricular activities, with a lot of student organizations. All major sports have teams which play regularly. Well equipped labs give you everything you need to experiment and to study.

Senior students mentor very well. Most of them form a strong bond from student organizations like NSS and E-cell. Alumni network is very helpful with constant job alerts and other opportunities. We keep in touch with most of the alumni and other students through social media and annual alumni gatherings.

Through MHT-CET, there's common admission process list after that. There are 3 or 4 lists, admission isn't very tough, and process is straightforward. Compared to VIT or PICT, cutoff is lesser, but same level of placements though.

Faculty is highly educated with years of experience and are kind and interactive. They are fairly involved in student organizations and clubs. They also mentor projects and help you in personal endeavors in your choice of topics.
