A great college for Fun with Studies

It’s one of the best for my course that is instrumentation engineering and also it’s rag free and has a good atmosphere of students where we can develop ourselves and also they have various club activities and it’s also one of the best colleges in Maharashtra

Its totally based on Mumbai University syallbus and total consists on 8 semesters.The curriculum is good, especially because of all the practicals related to those of the topics and also the visual presentation of those topics. The exam structure is like we have 2 Term tests in each term and then a viva and our final Semester exam which is almost of a duration of 6 months all together.

One of the Good colleges in mumbai region for placements. No other college brings as much companies as RAIT brings for recruitment. Most of the students get placed in the first phase. i.e. Till December. And later on the remaining ones get place in 2nd phase and 3rd phase.

Yes we have many activities such as cricket tournaments even the sports competitions in between departments since we have almost each and every type of court for almost every sports including Swimming pool and very own DY Patil Stadium.

Its pretty much feasible and pretty much in the perfect range as it should be of any engineering college.Even there are schemes for some low income family students as well as on caste basis the fees are different. Where these schemes are brought by our education system i.e. MU many get scholarship too.

Yes there are many scholarship opportunities, but most of them are from Mumbai university. But those scholarship are made well aware to the students so that each and every student can avail its benifits if they are eligible for that particular scheme Rajashri shahu maharaj scheme.

Every semester there is Ganesh utsav also many other regional celebrations along with tech fest whereas in odd semester official event known as HORIZON is there which is 3 days of full madness and fun along with tech fest and sports championships and also tie and saree day and traditional day

The hostel is not there for engineering students as the majority students taking admission are locals also mess is not there but they have a good cafeteria their are 2 of them both are super cheap and the food is healthy and good also they host most of the events in the college campus.

Alumnus of RAIT are remarkable members and also work for prestigious companies and whenever they come to college they inspire us then like we do now.There is a special committee for the alumni network which looks after the connection of students with the alumni. Rait alumni association(RAA). Yes. The alumni students are very helpful.

We got admission on the basis of JEE and Boards but nowadays its on CET and Boards. Process is full online but cane be done through management quota also via offline mode.Candidates shall apply offline for admission to any UG/ PG/ Ph.D. course offered by the institute. They are required to fill out a separate application form for each course. Candidates who have passed 10+2/ HSC or its equivalent qualifying examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ technical vocational subjects from a recognized board are eligible for admission to B.E course. Applicants who hold a B.E/ B.Tech degree from a recognized university and have a valid GATE score are eligible for admission to M.E. To get admission to the Ph.D. course, applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in any specializations with minimum 55% marks from any university.

Good decent faculty is available.The faculty is really well qualified about the related subjects that they actually teach in class as well as well aware about upcoming technology.Since i was from IN department.all these things really matter especially to be able to qualify for the industry standards.
