Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was very deep and informative. The exams would happen biannually. The syllabus covered all the aspects necessary to bridge the gap between agriculture and technology. The course emphasises on techniques which can be used to enhance the crop quality.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The basic fee structure for a Bachelor’s program is 1.2 lacs per annum. I availed a fee concession of fees, for being the first graduate from the family. The fee structure is little higher side and other scholarship options are also available with the college and the TNAU university.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship options for the meritorious students of the college.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good but the buildings are old. Overall the facilities provided in the college are also good. We have a fully stocked library, an AV enabled auditorium, state of the art labs and machinery.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of the college is pretty good. Annual alumni meet is organised in the college to enhance the alumni cooperation. Apart from that alumni are also invited throughout the year for seminars and to deliver guest lectures and motivate the students for good.
Admission
The college is affiliated to the Anna University, the admission process for a UG program is on the basis of an entrance test conducted by TNAU. I applied online on the official website.
Faculty
All the teaching faculty are well qualified with doctoral degrees and their capabilities have been enhanced by working on higher training programmes, both in India and abroad in their fields of specialization and education technologies.
