I want to clarify something regarding a myth beforehand. The Degree is provided by Sangai International University, Manipur – JD Institute of Fashion Technology acts as a ‘Skill Knowledge Provider’ for the university.

Form history to the foundation, From textile to craft documentation you will everything in detail at the JDI during your 6 semester course. The course was purely practical based. Although, the assignment part would seem tedious at times, but these are some of the elements will prepare for the corporate world.

You won’t get better placement opportunities than our institute. The JD Institute has many international collaborations which will give you enough exposure to expand your networks and get a pre placement offer.

Lots and lots of fashion weeks, exhibitions, art competitions and what not. Perspective, was a field trip with Mr. Cyriac which I will never forget. It was aimed at expanding our vision about street life, and life in general.

I paid around 1.8 Lacs in the first year. So in total the three year course would cost you more than 5 lacs, which is at par with the premium fashion institutes. The facilities and exposure made me satisfied despite the expensive course fee.

Infrastructure is good. The JD institute got all the necessary facilities and equipment required for a fashion institute. The campus life is literally like a dream. You will be busy with all the exhibition and field trips which will give you endless networking opportunities. I made a lot of friends, learning and growing at the same time.

You can apply both online or offline to take admission in the college. For the B. Sc. course you must have cleared class 12.

The faculty is supportive and belong from different disciplines of the industry. Most of them have worked with many renowned figures. They were always eager to help and motivate students towards being innovative.
