Remarks :
The Holy Crescent College is located in the Ernakulam district of Kerala. I did my B. Arch from the college and overall it was a pleasant experience. The placement could have been better, but the infra is good, as it should be for an architectural college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The first two semesters are merged. The course structure was quite thorough and covered all the basic principles of architecture. The course helped in shaping our career in the right direction.
Placement Experience :
It will be better if you receive a pre placement offer during your internship. Otherwise you will find it tough to find a job on your own.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My first year fee was Rs. 80,000. After paying such a hefty sum, you expect at least some decent furniture. But during our convocation, we were seated on the plastic chairs. On top of that they would ask for an additional 10K for value added.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure was quite good, and straightaway draws your attention towards the unique architecture. Both the academic block and the studio were nicely built. Since the batch size was so small, everyone knew everyone else.
Admission :
Admission was on the basis of the NATA scores and class 12 marks. Both are given equal weightage in the selection process.
Faculty :
All faculty members were qualified and had the necessary work experience before joining the college.Teachers like (Eapen) Mathew sir constantly pushed the students to work beyond our limits.
