Remarks

Inferno is one of the major events celebrated in the college. Apart from that, Drishtikon is an event dedicated towards budget discussions. Symposium and annual day celebration is also a regular part of the annual schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview

The MBA curriculum is quite thorough. The first two semesters are focussed on covering the general MBA concepts, like management, operations, HR, etc. Next two semesters are specialization oriented. Final semester specifically caters to the entrepreneurship.

Placement Experience

Placement record is very good for our college. As of today, nearly 85% of the students have been placed in companies such as Mahindra Finance, Kirby, ICICI Security, etc. The average salary package offered is around 6.50 LPA with a variety of profiles offered in marketing, human resources, and finance sectors.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for the first year is around 3.4 lacs for general category. Fee for students from an army background is less. The college provides a state of the art facilities with digital classrooms, fully stacked library, computer labs, etc

Our college offers many scholarships funded by the Indian Army.

Campus Life

Campus Life is okay. Infrastructure is good with a gymnasium for boys and girls. our campus is a residential one . discipline and adaptability are the essence of the college. The library contains a plethora of journal, related to management and non-management topics.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network holds a high honor for the Army Institute of Management. Nostalgia is an annual event organised for the alumni of the college, where many alumni of visit for an interactive and fun session for current students.

Admission

The admission is on the basis of CAT scores. I got a call for the GD/PI round with my 74 %ile score. The GD round was easy to crack, but they grilled me nicely during the interview round

Honest Review of BIBS

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course only because of our HOD, but after completing my course, he left the course. He has helped us with all the things like web development and seo skills. By doing it practically for every student, he offers a domain for every student. I had difficulty with Google Ads & meta ads because it was taught by another faculty. The exam times were different by 3 months.

Placement Experience:

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.

Placement Experience:

IIM Calcutta is in an excellent location. There were 172 companies on campus, offering approximately 520 jobs. IIM C had a 100% placement rate, with the majority of companies coming from Consulting, BFSI, Marketing, and IT. The average package was around 28.5 lakhs, with the highest domestic CTC being 60 lakhs.

Remarks:

It is one of the renowned institutes in Kolkata. But after admission got the clear msg. It is renowned for its engineering degree only not for PGDM or MBA. They even dont have proper faculties to teach students. I majored in Business Analytics, but back to then in 2019 there was not even one teacher who have subject knowledge.

Remarks:

Only good remarks I can give for my college, but one bad thing is that it's very far away from my place as I stay in Howrah it took around 2 to 2½ hrs journey for college.

Remarks:

College course structure is good but as faculty are not good implementation is bad. Need company visit and better placement. More focuses on MBA rather than the additional courses. Apart from this, it's a good college.

Remarks:

The good things I like is that the teachers teach through the slides prepared by himself and also told student to prepare PowerPoint presentation and deliver in the class and also give different case study to solve the problem. Only missing thing is that the student are getting less practical knowledge as compare to theory paper.

The good thing about this college are the activities that take place every Saturday, which is quite interesting and knowledgeable. The bad thing about the college is that the departments are divided on the basis of their courses so the students do not gather as a whole bunch of college.
