Remarks
College is so good. There is no ragging. Juniors seniors and college faculties keep a good and healthy relationship. One can always depend on the other. Since college is in the forest some what makes students more attached to nature and social activities.
Course Curriculum Overview
KTU is the university. There is 6 subjects with each having 6 modules. Also two labs. Subjects are somewhat tough though one can score good mark with proper study schedule. There are two internal exams and 3 assignments for each subject which you have to score 22.5 for each subject out of 50 to write the university exam. Both internals and university exams need separate pass mark to pass the exam. For passing an year one should get a minimum of 23 credits. Each subject have different credit varing from 1 to 4.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell which organises the placement for final year students. Companys from different area comes to interview. College give internship programs. That experience is good but no stipend.
College Events
Events are held by different year students. College give some fund for the program and the remaining fund need to be raised by the students. College have their full support in helping the students come with fruitful events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For Gov. quota fees is 35000 and for non Gov quota it's 70000. Backward class students no need to pay other than their exam fees. Some students who score high rank in KEAM also need to pay only the exam fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are different scholarships available for all students like egrands etc. College faculty helps students in getting scholarships. Loan facility is also offered by the college from different bank. Students can apply for their need
Campus Life
One can elaborate his extracurricular activities in which college gives full support. There are sports arts and other days celebrated. There are different clubs like NSS IEEE IEDC etc. Students can join on their interest.
Hostel Facilities
College have its own hostel almost 500m from college. Rooms are clean but not attached bathroom. Bathrooms are common on each floor. 2 or 3 on each floor. Food is cooked there and served hot. Students need to pay the rent monthly or annually. Mess fees depends on each month and the amount one eat.
Alumni/Alumna
Aluminis are so helpful. Students get physical mental and financial help from them. They are always ready to help in need. They usually visit college and helps in improving the college facilities. They always keep good and healthy contacts with students.
Admission
I wrote KEAM exam. It's rank made me able to join this college. Teachers were incharge of the admission process. They helped to know about the college which made me sure to join the college. College have both Gov. and Clg. seat.
Faculty
There are no sufficient faculty. Teachers are hence asked to take subject that they have less knowledge. Though there are some teachers who completely dedicated to their profession. Teachers gives notes that helps to study for exams.
