Remarks

I did my bachelor’s course from MGAHV university. Where my area of studies was Mass Comm. studies. The Course structure and the campus life was awesome. I will definitely recommend the university for that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum was in line with the industry standards. The college offers a perfect mix of theoretical and practical sessions. We got a hands on experience from the industry experts. Exams are held biannually.

College Events

5

Extracurricular activities are very prominent in our college. Our management emphasises on overall development of the students. Many guest lectures and workshops are organised in the university which are aimed at imparting some additional knowledge for the students. Cultural dance programs are the most entertaining. All in all these cultural events gave us many memorable moments to feel nostalgic about.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for my mass comm program was very nominal. It was only a mere 7K per annum. Students are provided with excellent facilities including digitized rooms and proper media tools

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is pretty dynamic in our college. The infra is good and the buildings are also good. Students get a lot of opportunities to socialize during the cultural events which are being organised in the college, during various festive seasons.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

University also provides accommodation facilities for the students. There are two boys’ hostel and one girls’ hostel to accommodate a fair number of the students. The facilities provided are also pretty good. The mess food is decent and washrooms are quite hygienic.

Admission

Admission is on the basis of MGAHV Written Test. Students clearing the written test are then invited for the interview round. This institute is closest to my house and has pretty good academic record.

Faculty

5

Faculty members are very supportive and qualified and had the necessary experience required for guiding students. There teaching styles were unique and productive. They would share work experiences to enhance our practical understanding of the curriculum. We got hands on experience by the personal experiences shared by the faculty members coupled with studio sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the subjects are Pretty relevant to real-world for example i have economics and psychology as one of my subjects and in economics for 2nd year we are learning public finances and indian economy i would say it is pretty useful. As for psychology the practicals and theory is useful is you are considering a career in psychology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Placement Experience:

The majority of students are ignorant of the college's placement cell, particularly those in the arts department. However, 50% of students from the prior batch of BA third-year students were offered internships in our program. The greatest package offered was up to 17 LPA, while the lowest package offered was 7 LPA. Some companies, such as HDFC and TCS, were present. College placements are not ideal, and only a small number of students opt for them. The vast majority of students opt to continue their studies. The college placements are average in general. My plan is to go for higher education after getting degree.
