Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum has been updated recently, which means the learning will be as per all the latest advancements both agricultural and technological. The 4-year program is sufficient enough to make you capable of starting your own venture.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement process is not that good in our college. Packages that were offered to my seniors, started from 20k/month. I wanted to do a PhD that’s why the poor placement process never bothered me. Most seed companies and fertilizer companies would come for the placement process on our campus.

College Events

3.5

College motivates students to take part in extracurricular activities like cultural performance and sports. All the basic sports facilities like playing ground, the running track, the basketball court, and the badminton court are provided by the college.

Campus Life

4

The classrooms, labs, libraries, sports, games, and canteen are available. The canteen provides both the Maharashtrian food and Andhra Pradesh food. There is a nice blend of people from different cultural backgrounds. Overall social life was good and both the teaching and non-teaching staff were very friendly. I made friends for life. I am still in touch with some of my faculty members.

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 2 hostels, one for boys and girls each. Food is okay, but they could pay more attention to the food. The hostel rooms are the worst. Hostels are facilitated with Wi-Fi and RO water, but the rooms are a bit old since they were built in 1965.

Admission

Admission to the UG program is on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by ICAR. Students clearing the entrance exam are invited for further process. The entire selection process is pretty tedious and lengthy.

Faculty

4

Some of the teachers are good while others are the worst you could imagine. The overall quality of teaching is good. Hindi is the preferred language in the classrooms for better understanding. All of them are very friendly and supported us at every step. We also had industrial exposure in the final year. The student to faculty ratio is about 30:1.

College infrastructure is so nice a good vibe comes when we learn something innovative and interesting. All students take part in the various activities performed in academics. Negative mark is such that some teachers show the wrong behaviour towards the students.
