My college is the best in the block. It is regarded as one of the best institution in the KBK region. It has a reputation of its own. Every year there are a number students qualifying into some of the prestigious colleges in the country.

The course particularly is very student friendly. There is no huge burden on student of vast syllabus. The syllabus is divided According to the student mind set gradually going to the finer information after getting a basic idea on the sphere of study. The pattern followed is semester pattern. In the span of 3 years there are in total 6 semester's and the written exam comprises only about 60 % of marks. The rest 40% is equally divided for internals and projects. There are also practicals but only for the final year.

The college being a government autonomous college there is scope for ample jobs. There is also the facility of M.sc in tha same colleges. Yes there is opportunity for placements but there are only limited companies recruiting students. Mostly vedanta is the one to regularly bag many students from our college. There is no requirement of any madatory internship.

There are many events celebrated in the college but those are not very different from other colleges. The main events here are the freshers party, farewell party which are restricted to own departments. The whole college as a whole celebrated the annual day, utkal divas and the national days like republic day, independence day and various others

The fee Structure is very feasible. The fee is a nominal amount that can be easily afforded even by the weaker sects of the society. The fee is around 3000 per semester which is very low when compared to private colleges.the whole course would cost you around 20k

There is a very special facility available to the students securing above certain limit every year set by the government. The ones qualifying are presented with laptops free of cost for assistance in upgrading their techincal skills. there is also a scholarship scheme available for the ST's caste

There are ample opportunities for extracurricular activites. Every year there is a sports meet. There are seminars held every week to raise knowledge of the students. Thete is a library facility in the campus. boys common room and girls common room are also available

There is no such strong network of alumni's. There is bond between the batches like juniors and seniors but there isn't a strong platform for interaction between the students of different batches. Often teachers in contact with some students close to them and they provide a basis of mutual network between the students.

Firstly you need to apply the form through online mode via the site dheodisha.gov.in and fill the required preferences like 1st option for b.sc zoology followed by b.sc in botany and rest. You also have the option for colleges, like you can apply for all the colleges you would like to join on a priority basis. After the successful submission of required details, there shall be a specified date for the list of merit candidate's and those selected can join on the date mentioned. The ones who did not get listed can wait for the subsequent lists like 2nd list and spot admission

The faculty are good enough. The are fit for the job with some exceptions though. The best part is the communication between the teacher and student which is very high. often there is vocabulary explanations in native languages to assist those students who are not so fluent in english.
