College review

They are really experimenting with their students right now. We have no consistency. There are changes happening on a rapid pace. Already we have a hectic schedule and have to cope up with college stress but then they always come up with new ideas such as now summer internship which is 8 credit subject now for which we were informed after our college started that we have to do part time internship with college which is not possible because some people are doing coaching after college or other things. Management is poor. Till last year we were not very surely told that we could get internships or not and now after college started. In first year when I took admission there were placement for bba no placements are cancelled. We are always compared to bms students. They pay more and avail more.

Course is completable. But classes schedule is hectic apart from which they want us to pursue part time internship during college. The exam structure is rigid but different from other colleges. We get stress free and relieved much before any other colleges exam start as well.

Freshers and Farewell as such we got no assistance for that. Last time for farewell we could not even get the auditorium of the other campus which is huge to fit in students. They take a lot time to process permission for these kind of events. When I was to take admission here I knew JLU was popular for its events but its my third year now and not yet have I attended the ETHNICITY because it never happened. Sunburn was pretty well though in first year.

Fee structure is expensive as compared to other colleges and we were as such promised placements but now they have took that opportunity from us to even sit in the placements. For any college BBA is at priority first for placements but our seniors when I was in first year got placements and then they stopped giving placements to BBA.

Scholarship facility is available for merit students who have more than 9 cgpa in school if they are getting admission in college and the whole tution fees is availed in scholarship. Loan facility as such i'm not pretty much sure about but I have availed an education loan myself from punjab national bank first and took admission in JLU.

Sports is really good and jlu do let their students focus on their performance a lot which brings prestige to college. For Extracurricular activities they have made different groups such as volunteering or creative, which we can be a part of and enhance our personalities.

I could not say properly about this. There are people availing opportunities but it's not for every student. For instance, CR of the class got internship in the college itself and when I asked if I could do a job at jlu itself, they denied.

I applied for the admission and then I recieved a call for a thorough admission process and campus visit. Also a career counselling for the various courses I could apply for and interests I can pursue there.

Faculty is really helpful. Blessed to have faculty like that in college who are your friends as well. They do try to understand our point of view and help us too. Ofcourse some faculty is exception but overall the experience with faculty is really awesome.
