How do I prepare for the CDPI at K J Somaiya as I don't have good academics and also I haven't done anything except the prelims? Can I still get into K J Somaiya?

For admission in to K J Somaiya Institute of Management, you must satisfy these basic eligibility criteria, listed as below:

• Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university 
• Valid score in CAT /XAT /CMAT /NMAT or GMAT 

After fulfilling the basic criteria, you will be shortlisted for the Case Analysis and Personal Interview round. It is broadly divided into 3 categories:

1. Past Academic Records: The importance is given to the marks in Standard 10th, 12th, and Graduation.
2. Work Experience: You will be assessed based on the number of years of work experience if you have.
3. Achievements: Past achievements if any and the level of those achievements are also considered in the selection process.

The final selection does not happen merely based on the past academic records but other parameters are also taken. Percentage breakup of weightage given to different parameters is as follows.

You should be well prepared for the Group discussion (Case analysis) and Personal interview rounds.
