Placements at KIIT have always been great and like every year, this year too it witnessed placement offers by some of the best companies.

Around 400 prestigious companies offered 5000+ job offers for a batch size of 3500 eligible B.Tech students of 2022 batch KIIT. It seems the institute is again set to achieve 100% placements. Here are a few highlights from KIIT Placements 2022

400 recruiters visited the campus
Out of total recruiters, 75 were first-time visitors
In all 5000+ offers were made out of which 3200+ offers were single
The top 1500 students were placed in their dream companies with Average CTC of 8.10 LPA
42 Companies offered CTC of 10.00 LPA and above
150+ Companies offered CTC of 5.00 LPA or more
Highest CTC of 52.00 LPA by YugaByte Software (P) Ltd.
Average CTC of 6.05 LPA approximately (30% Higher than previous year)
Highradius was the top recruiter and thus offered 850 PPOs till date followed by Cognizant with 717 jobs

The ‘Day Zero’ dream campus drives at KIIT witnessed the placement of top 1500 students by MNCs wherein the average CTC stood at 8.10 LPA. Around 42 Companies offered CTC of Rs. 10.00 lakh or more and Yugabyte offered the highest CTC of Rs.52.00 LPA.

While ‘Day-One’ campus recruitment drive witnessed 2000 job offers from four companies namely, Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Wipro. Additionally, many companies visited the KIIT campus more than one time like Accenture, Ericsson, Escorts, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, etc.

KIIT SOM has a strong alumni network of 5000+ with many on the CxO level in big corporations. A few of my friends studied there and here’s what I got to know from them:

The institute carries “Day Zero” dream campus drives to place students.
Already 38 companies visited the campus. A few students have already received their offers from some of the reputed companies.
However, the institute announced that 150+ companies are to visit the campus on day zero.
Some "day zero" recruiters that came to campus are Autodesk, Amazon, Reliance, Quikr, Novartis, Nutanix, Informatica, VMware, Endurance International, and ZS Associates.
The packages offered by these companies are above INR 7 LPA.
Out of these, Nutanix recruited a student at INR 18 LPA.
However, the drive will continue till September. So, many opportunities are in queue for the students.
The companies like PwC, Nissan, Philips, TATA Tech, High Radius, and others will offer promising packages of over INR 6 LPA.
CSE students usually get an opportunity to sit for an interview in every company.

Overall, KIIT SOM students can climb to great heights if they are hardworking and persistent, as the institute provides many opportunities to grow and get placed.
