Questions Asked On VNRVJIET, Hyderabad

Which is better, GRIET or VNR VJIET?

PC
Pooja Chattopadhay Posted On : July 9th, 2021
Studied at Calcutta University (2019)

It is suggested not to go with either of the colleges mentioned in the question. They offer a mundane college life without any enthusiastic approach towards academics as well as extracurriculars. If you want your college life to be like that then join VNR or GRIET.

Although, many people consider VNR to be better in comparison with GRIET. Microsoft is one of the only good companies that recruit students enrolled in VNR.

My advice for you would be to just live away from your home and get enrolled in a decent University. This way, you can learn a lot about life and what it's like to be out of your comfort zone for a long period.

You can improve your communication skills and learn to communicate with someone who does not speak the same language which you do. You will meet people of different backgrounds and who belong to different cultures and traditions.

Go out and explore all the opportunities that the world has in store for you. No matter what happens, you will be able to learn a lot about life during your college years.

Which college should I select between Vasavi College of Engineering and VNR Vignana Jyothi College of Engineering?

NS
Neeraj Shroff Posted On : August 20th, 2021
Studied at Vasavi College of Engineering (2020)

Vasavi College of Engineering is better. It has better faculty than VNR Vignana Jyothi College of Engineering and that the record of placements of the former is also superior. According to 2021 placement highlights, the highest and lowest CTC offered at Vasavi are 21 LPA and 3.5 LPA respectively.

Vasavi boasts of having a good library and classes for exclusive employability are also conducted here. The faculty is also very supportive and experienced.

The cons of being a Vasavi College of Engineering, however, are as follows.

  • There is not much availability of freedom at Vasavi.
  • No availability of wifi for the students.
  • The campus is small.
  • VNR provides more opportunities in sports.

Both colleges have their share of advantages and disadvantages, but overall Vasavi is the better option.

Which is the best engineering college in Hyderabad among Guru Nanak, Vardhaman, BV Raju, VNR, and Malla Reddy?

RK
Ragini Khanna Posted On : November 10th, 2022
Studied at Malla Reddy Engineering College

Every college is excellent and ineffective in its way. Similarly, these colleges have their advantages.

  • Malla Reddy is the best choice for placements.

  • Guru Nanak is the best choice for a college with excellent faculty, infrastructure, and hostel facilities.

  • Vardhaman, BV Raju is ideal for college architecture and development.

  • VNR is ideal for colleges with stringent rules and regulations.

It's not about the college when it comes to engineering; it's about how you learn and how much effort you put in. Colleges only teach you 10% of what you need to know; the other 90% must be learned outside of the classroom and through hard work. Any college will suffice if you have a strong interest in your program and are serious about pursuing a career in engineering.

How is VNR VJIET College?

C
ChaoticCanvas Posted On : February 16th, 2026

My rating: 8/10

Life at VNR-VJIET offers much more than just classes and placements. The college boasts some top-notch sports facilities, and our sports festival is a highlight in South India.

There are numerous tech and cultural events to join:

  • Tech fest: Convergence
  • Cultural fest: Sintillashunz is widely known ?

Students can also engage in social service initiatives like the NSS camp.

The college supports student initiatives and mentorship for juniors with talks and visits from inspiring real-life personalities. There's a motivational club as well.

It's a great place to showcase your projects.

On Republic Day, student clubs parade their work.

You'll find various clubs to join and enjoy industrial visits.

There are also intramurals and special events for newcomers.

You'll meet friends who'll stick with you for life. This is perhaps the best part!

In conclusion, you'll transform from a student entering engineering to someone skilled in handling different life situations. The four years spent here will be memorable.

And yes, the placements are pretty solid!

How is student’s life at VNR VJIET?

D
DigitalDragonfly Posted On : February 16th, 2026

One word sums it up: vibrant! The experiences at VNR VJIET are quite diverse. You've got studies, top-notch facilities, great faculty, and advanced labs. There's also a focus on robotics, automobiles, and plenty of active student chapters. Plus, you'll find a whole mix of friendships and mentoring from seniors, along with relationships, festivals, dance clubs, dramatics, and lively social clubs. And don't worry, because you also have job placements lined up in the final year. That's what I call graduating with flying colors!

For me, the charm of VNR really hit during those late-night fest preparations. I'm from the 2016 batch, and I've been back twice since graduating. Every visit is a rollercoaster of emotions, with excitement and happy tears from seeing the campus again, mixed with a bit of sadness from missing it. It's not just a college; it's a heartfelt experience!

Which colleges are best in Hyderabad for engineering especially for girls? Im a non local my rank is 33k and basically I dont want management seat

S
ShadowSoldier Posted On : February 16th, 2026

Honestly, with a rank of 33k, it's tough to secure a seat in the merit quota. You might need to consider the management quota instead. Now, regarding engineering colleges in Hyderabad for women, here are some good options:

  • Sridevi Women's Engineering College
  • BVRIT Engineering College for Women, which is considered one of the best in Hyderabad
  • G. Narayanamma College for Engineering and Technology, another top choice
  • Vasavi College of Engineering, ranked second

Hope this helps!
