There are numerous tech and cultural events to join:

Students can also engage in social service initiatives like the NSS camp.

The college supports student initiatives and mentorship for juniors with talks and visits from inspiring real-life personalities. There's a motivational club as well.

It's a great place to showcase your projects.

On Republic Day, student clubs parade their work.

You'll find various clubs to join and enjoy industrial visits.

There are also intramurals and special events for newcomers.

You'll meet friends who'll stick with you for life. This is perhaps the best part!

In conclusion, you'll transform from a student entering engineering to someone skilled in handling different life situations. The four years spent here will be memorable.

And yes, the placements are pretty solid!

I'm in my third year of studying CSE at VNR. In my view, it's one of the top colleges in Hyderabad, right after CBIT and Vasavi, and of course, apart from JNTU and OU.

The placement opportunities here are impressive, with big names like Amazon, JPMC, and Microsoft coming to the campus. Last year, the highest salary offer was 42 lakhs per year from a Japanese company. Amazon offers around 30 lakhs, while JPMC offers about 14 lakhs. If you're good at coding and technical stuff, you stand a great chance of landing a good job, even if you're in a non-CS branch.

On the fun side, there are plenty of clubs to join, both technical and non-technical. There's CSI, Livewire for dance, VJ Teatro for short films, and many others. Being part of these clubs is a blast. VNR also hosts fantastic festivals like Sintillashunz and Convergence, which are a huge hit among students.

The faculty here is solid, with many holding Ph.D. degrees, which is a big plus. So, if you're considering VNR for any branch other than CSE and IT, it's still a great choice compared to other colleges in Hyderabad. If you do get into CSE or IT, consider yourself lucky!

Overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10.

VNR VJIET is a fantastic college with all the facilities students need. You'd really enjoy your time there. It's considered one of the top engineering colleges in Hyderabad.
