One word sums it up: vibrant! The experiences at VNR VJIET are quite diverse. You've got studies, top-notch facilities, great faculty, and advanced labs. There's also a focus on robotics, automobiles, and plenty of active student chapters. Plus, you'll find a whole mix of friendships and mentoring from seniors, along with relationships, festivals, dance clubs, dramatics, and lively social clubs. And don't worry, because you also have job placements lined up in the final year. That's what I call graduating with flying colors!
For me, the charm of VNR really hit during those late-night fest preparations. I'm from the 2016 batch, and I've been back twice since graduating. Every visit is a rollercoaster of emotions, with excitement and happy tears from seeing the campus again, mixed with a bit of sadness from missing it. It's not just a college; it's a heartfelt experience!
My score: 8/10
Being a student at VNR VJIET is about much more than just getting a job or sitting through long classes and labs. Here’s what makes it special:
In the end, you'll grow from a teenager starting engineering to someone ready to handle different life situations. These four years will be memorable for sure.
For female students, you'll grow from a girl into a woman here.
Oh, and the placements are pretty good too!
I'm in my third year of CSE here at VNR VJIET. In my opinion, after CBIT and Vasavi, this is the top college in Hyderabad, aside from JNTU and OU.
The placement scene at VNR is impressive. Big names like Amazon, JPMC, and Microsoft come for recruitments. Last year's highest package was 42 lakhs per annum from a Japanese company. Amazon offers around 30 lakhs, and JPMC offers 14 lakhs. Even if you're in a branch other than CS, having good coding and technical skills can land you a great job.
We have a variety of clubs, both technical and non-technical, like CSI, the Livewire dance club, and the VJ Teatro short film club, to name a few. Being part of these clubs is a lot of fun. The college also hosts amazing fests like Sintillashunz and Convergence, which are super enjoyable.
The faculty here is quite good, with many holding Ph.D. degrees. Even if you're considering branches other than CSE or IT (and if you get CSE or IT, that's awesome), VNR is still a fantastic choice compared to other colleges in Hyderabad.
Overall, I'd give it a 9 out of 10.
