IIM Udaipur is considered a new IIM, so the reputation is still building. The MBA program has a common first year, and we can choose electives in the second year, which is great. The faculty is good, and the exams are relatively easy, so passing is not a huge challenge. Campus life is where IIM U shines, with tons of activities and festivals to celebrate. While the placements are decent, the average package is around 19.5 lakhs, but there can be a lot of competition for the top roles. The total fees are about 22 lakhs, and while scholarships exist, they mainly benefit students from reserved categories. Overall, it’s a place where you can enjoy both academic and social life.
Studying at an IIM offers access to top-notch infrastructure, exceptional peers, industry interactions, and innovative pedagogy. What sets IIM Udaipur apart are its specially crafted programs like Rural Immersion, Global Immersion, and a highly regarded faculty that contribute to the holistic development of students.
The opportunities provided for students to lead events for clubs, committees, and summits enhance the executional learning process. Live projects and entrepreneurial initiatives further enrich classroom learning.
The entire IIMU administration exemplifies transparency, accountability, and approachability. Choosing IIMU over numerous other B-Schools last year has proven to be an excellent decision!
Studying MBA at IIM Udaipur has been a fulfilling experience for me. The curriculum is quite rigorous, similar to other IIMs, but I find it paced well. IIM U is known for its research capabilities and good infrastructure. Internships can be a mixed bag; while big names like Accenture and Pidilite do come, the final placements aren’t as impressive as one might expect from an IIM. The average package is around 19.5 lakhs, with internships averaging 1.5 lakhs.
The campus life is lively with 34 clubs and events like Solaris and TEDx, so you won’t be bored here. Just be prepared for the overall cost, which can go up to 24 lakhs with other expenses.
IIM Udaipur has a pretty solid reputation for its MBA program. The two-year course starts with a common curriculum, which gives us a good foundation. From the second year, we can choose electives that match our interests. The faculty is good, and honestly, exams are manageable if you pay attention in class. The campus life is vibrant with lots of activities and festivals, which makes it easier to network and bond with classmates. The total fees are around 22 lakhs, and while there are some scholarships, they mostly cater to reserved categories. Overall, it’s a great place to study if you’re looking to experience a lively campus while pursuing your MBA.
I had to jump in and share my thoughts on IIM Udaipur!
Overall, IIM Udaipur is a solid choice for an MBA. I had offers from CAP IIMs and IITs but chose IIM Udaipur because of its global ranking and rapid growth. I still miss the experience!
