I'm a student at KCT, and honestly, I'm not just saying this because I study here, but KCT really stands out in Tamil Nadu for its broad exposure. Let me compare it with a few other colleges. Take Anna University, for example. It's known for high cutoff marks and strong academics, but many grads still miss out on core field basics. Then there's PSG College of Tech in Coimbatore, which is great for getting core companies to hire students.
Now, talking about KCT, while our academics might not match Anna University's level, we have plenty of opportunities to showcase our skills. I can confidently say that no other college in Tamil Nadu offers as many clubs, forums, and exposure as KCT does, starting right from the first year. In terms of placements, we do get several core companies, not as many as PSG, but the ones coming here are top-notch. Plus, placements aren't the only career path. If you don't land a core job, KCT encourages entrepreneurship from the first year, helping students start their own ventures in their field if placements aren't ideal.
Our faculty is excellent, and there's a new plan to set up an Engineering Lab where students can put their ideas into practice instead of just sticking to books. This is a fantastic step because practical experience from the start is key. Isn't it exciting to get hands-on experience from day one?
If you want to truly understand KCT's excellence, you have to experience it for yourself. KCT - "Character is life".
From my experience in Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology at KCT, I can say the college has a vibrant campus life and excellent faculty support. The curriculum covers everything from web development to cloud computing, which is crucial for today's job market. The placements are quite good, with companies like Amazon and Wipro visiting for recruitment. I would definitely recommend KCT for IT students over KEC based on my experience.
I can't say much about KEC, but I can share what I know about KCT since I'm a student there. In my opinion, KCT is the top college in Tamil Nadu. It focuses on a wide range of activities, including academics, sports, music, and dance.
I can't really say which is better between KEC and KCT because it honestly depends on your course preference. For my course, Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology, KCT offers a solid curriculum that dives deep into the subject. The faculty is really supportive and focuses on improving our knowledge continuously. Plus, the placement opportunities are quite impressive, with the highest package going up to 25LPA, which is a big motivation for us. Overall, I feel KCT is a great choice for those looking into technical fields like mine.
I studied Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at KCT, and I can say that the facilities and faculty are top-notch. The curriculum is engaging, which makes understanding concepts easier. The placement opportunities are also good, with many reputed companies visiting for recruitment. The average salary offered is around 4LPA, which is decent for freshers. So, if you’re considering engineering, I think KCT is a solid option over KEC.
