If you're all about diving deep into your studies, Loyola College is the place to be. But if you're looking to grow personally and become more well-rounded, Madras Christian College offers that transformation. You might start at MCC as a kid, but you'll walk out as a true Gentleman.
Hey there, If your focus is on learning, then Loyola College is the place to be. But if you're looking for experiences, Madras Christian College might be better. Both colleges are great and have their own unique qualities. Thanks!
Wait, MCC is a college? I always imagined it was like an endless Woodstock Festival with a few classrooms added just for show. On the other hand, Loyola is what I consider a real college. It's right in the city (though I've heard Tambaram is now considered part of the city too), it's much closer to places like WCC and Ethiraj, and they serve the best mess food I've ever had. Loyola consistently ranks among the top 3 colleges in India, something the guys at MCC don't quite manage. That's what I would have jokingly said 25 years ago. Just having a bit of fun here.
In reality, both colleges are great. I often suggest MCC for courses like statistics and English literature, while Loyola is fantastic for Zoology and Physics. MCC also boasts the best German department, thanks to my friend teaching there. Back in the day, MCC offered a better student life compared to Loyola. We were always a bit envious of that, so we often poked fun at MCC to cover up our own lack of student activities.
