BITS follows a continous evalautaion with no attendance policy You can choose courses other than CDCS which helps you make your own timetable. There are humanitives elective which also help you grow as a person like developing personality and all.

Course curriculum is very application based inspired by Mit curriculum and there is zero percent attendance policy making the student to explore other aspects and enjoy tge vibrant campus culture also the alumni connections are good .

As I said before, the curriculum is designed by MIT and hence it's comprehensive and subjected to change as per industry standards. For hands on experience on the subject, we have interships and other opportunities provided by Bits management.

The courses taught in the chemical department are very relevant to the industry. Due to the regular assessments, students are up-to-date with everything happening in class. The teachers show some degree of flexibility if quizzes from other courses are overlapping. The exams (for chem engg) are easy if what is taught in class is clear.

Chemical engineering is mostly based on physical chemistry, you learn about the chemical processes and how to optimise them and large scale manufacturing of chemicals and chemical products. So I think what I learnt was pretty relevant.
