How is the faculty at IIM Ahmedabad?

The faculties are always available to help the students and they make sure they are approachable for the students. If you have a doubt regarding anything you can take an appointment and reach any faculty you want to. I literally reached out a faculty to get support for a research paper and they instantly agreed. Also, besides all this we also have a faculty and student mentorship program, where we can reach out to our faculty mentor regarding any academic concerns we might have and they will provide us with the best solutions possible for our problem.

IIMA has very well-managed classrooms in terms of both the curriculum and the attached teacher-to-student ratio. The curriculum for each and every subject is made keeping in mind the best means of gaining knowledge from the same. The courses include marketing, economics, strategy, finance, HR, organizational behavior, public policy, etc. This amalgam is a perfect blend of the set of values and skills required to excel in the upcoming professional journey. I vividly remember some of the courses (not necessarily the main streams) and the key reason is the faculty attached to it. I profoundly recall Prof. Navdeep Mathur for inculcating business acumen via courses least possibly connected with the widely known management related courses. Prof. Neharika Vohra who led several courses related to entrepreneurship in a very interesting and exciting fashion. While the courses at IIMA were definitely challenging, the degree differed from student to student as every one had their own strengths and weaknesses. Even with the challenging level of courses and the attached examinations, there were hardly people who failed the exam. The surprise tests though definitely caught the students by surprise.

My faculty Ratio is approach to understandable to each student for equally. And faculties are good to teach with understanding of practically explained. Total in year 6 exams are there and i failed 2 exams and my colleagues are failed 3 exams

The student to faculty ration in IIM is one teacher for every five students. They maintain a good relationship and the faculties are quite apporachable. They always tend to help students when they are in need. I like the HOD of my department. He is a very kind and humble person.

the faculties here at IIM are very well educated and qualified. most of them are doctors and CA as well. only few of them are with rarely less degrees rest all are very well educated. and when i look upon them i get inspired to be honest. they are that much good.
