How are the placements at NIT Delhi?

Placement at NIT Delhi are good for CSE department. Students are eligible from 7th semester for their placement. Companies like Amazone, Oracle, Goldman sachs visit. Highest placement in 2025 was 58LPA , average package was 17LPA . And around 100% students get placed . I plan to start a business after completing my graduation..

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. There are good placements in my college. In the starting of 5th sem there are internship we are eligible by the CGPA to set in the internship if you selected two months in the sem holidays. If you selected in the internship it is easy to get campus placement. For the campus placements the companys will come to the college and they take interview and test

I'm my college , placements are pretty good overall, but with some challenges too . For core branches like VLSI or ece the opportunities are there companies come for roles like RTL design, verification, physical layout . But it's more competitive than software or IT companies. The placements are very good, with the average package ranging from 19 to 23 lakhs. Around 72–85% of students secure seats through the placement cell. If you have a CGPA of 6.5 or above, you are eligible to sit in the placement cell; otherwise, you are not eligible. The TNP cell means Training and Placement Cell.
