How are the hostels at IGNOU?

The college hostel for boys has 2 divisions,mainly the new boys hostel and the old boys hostel. The new boys hostel is mainly alloted for the first years and seniors stay in the old boys. The bathroom facilities in the old boys are bad and is worse than the new boys. But once you live there for sometime you get used to it. There are pgs and rented stays outside the college which is better and also located close by.

I rented a PG at 2km apart from the college. It was affordable and the management family has very good manners and is very homely. My PG charges Rs. 3700 rent inclusive of food and room or other facilities. My PG is well maintained and very hygienic.
