How is the course curriculum of Master of Surgery [M.S] (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) in MAMC Delhi?

Course consists pf writing a thesis during 3 years of post graduation. We have to do our duties in Obstetrics, gynecology and family planning. We are mostly busy inside operation theatres or dealing with patients in OPD

You study gynecology in final year of MBBS as well so you get a fair idea of what the subject demands from you. we have to conduct deliveries and deal with gyne cases. We donot get much free time as there. are lots of patients

Course is for 3 years but if you fail because of an angry professor than you might have to repeat the course for another year. So be regular with your studies. OPDs are very hectic. there's always a long queue of patients waiting for you.

We have to completely devote ourselves to clinical practice to understand the signs and symptoms properly. Bookish knowledge helps us a lot but practical experience gives us the confidence. We have to spend 3 years in obstetrics and gynecology combined.

Gynecology is a nice branch. You get to experience a lot of emotions seeing so many children being born in front of you. You easily get thesis topic thanks to the variety of patients you see and cure.
