How are the placements for Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Information Technology) at St Xavier's Mumbai?

Xavier's is a college where all the companies come together to provide different types of jobs according to the level of calibre of the deserved students. They prefer knowledgeable and hardworking candidates for the job. The lowest salary you may get is 6-7 lacks per year. And the maximum pay depends on your ability and skill. The companies are big enough to start. Big brands like Google, Wipro, etc come for placements. Even I got placed and joined a company (I won't take the name though) with a monthly salary of 30000 but since I wanted to pursue higher studies so I dropped out of it after attending 2-3 days and realized I cant manage both the things together. For the senior batch, the packages offered went from 3 LPA to 9 LPA.

After completing your 5th sem. You are eligible for the campus placements. Companies like Zilingo, Bain, TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Media.net, Deloitte, and many other reputed companies visited our college for campus placements.Highest package offered was 18 lakhs per year and average was 4.2 lakhs per year. Can't name the companies name as it's confidential or you might check it online over internet.My plans after completing my degree was to get a good job and learn about the corporate world and the functionality of the business. After getting experience and knowledge will start my own firm, planning for the future.

Most of the companies ask for content writer and sales kind of jobs. And many students do not like to have such jobs.

St. Xavier's being an Autonomous college has excellent placement be it placement for Higher education abroad or Job opportunities. It's reputation always a pages a way for best placements. Moreover the college offered various workshops and internships in reputed firms which adds to the students resume.

As college is top ranked many companies and labs visit here for campus placement. Placement interviews are conducted for students interested in jobs because majority bachelor's crowd apply for masters programme. Industrial training is also provided for students by various departments.
