Which one to go for B.Sc. IT from Amity University Lucknow or BCA from Amity University Lucknow?

AS
Anjali Singh Posted On : December 23rd, 2021
B.Tech (Biotechnology) from Amity University, Lucknow (2018)

It really will not matter as the faculties of B.Sc. IT and BCA are more or less the same. They are taught similar subjects.

The only difference is that in B.Sc. IT is majorly concerned with the research aspect of the computer, while BCA is concerned more with the application of computer science. But both are equally great courses with proper scope for the future.

Amity Lucknow offers great facilities, infrastructure and highly supportive and experienced faculty members for all the courses. Go for the one you are interested in and want to make a career in.

How is Vels University in Chennai for BSc information technology?

B.Com from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College,Delhi University

My cousin is from this institute, so I think I am eligible to answer your question.

It is a well-established institution with a well-qualified faculty and a placement track record ranging from 60% to 90%. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 17 LPA.

The university has all modern conveniences, such as air-conditioned classrooms/laboratories, a fine canteen, and a pleasant environment.

However, you have to look out for expenses as if you know it is an expensive university with fewer than 210 days of classes every year. So if you can afford it, then you should definitely go for it.

Yes, even if you have a background in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), you can still pursue a B.Sc. in Information Technology at Parul University. Unlike all other universities that require math, Parul University also admits PCB students who have earned at least 40% in their Class 12 coursework (35% for reserved).

Admission is solely determined by your 12th-grade grade; there is no entrance exam required.

NN
Nestor Noronha Posted On : September 21st, 2024

being honest i had applied in various colleges for eg: Kelkar , Khalsa , Ruparel and so on but i never got in any of the colleges because i had less marks in maths in my 12th std board exams. according to university rules you need atleast 50% which i didnt have and so couldnt make it. I got in xaviers because it is autonomous and they had a entrance exam , i got admission in special category i.e. ex servicemen quota. i was trying to find colleges with good cricket teams but didnt get any college. Xaviers was my first and last option then. Admission process is very simple for bsc it, you have a an entrance exam, they take the aggregate of that exam and your 12th std marks , then a merit list comes out , theres a christan quota, special quota, student with disabilites and general quota. based on the merit you get in.

How are the placements for Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Information Technology) at St Xavier's Mumbai?

M
Muskaan Posted On : September 15th, 2021

Xavier's is a college where all the companies come together to provide different types of jobs according to the level of calibre of the deserved students. They prefer knowledgeable and hardworking candidates for the job. The lowest salary you may get is 6-7 lacks per year. And the maximum pay depends on your ability and skill. The companies are big enough to start. Big brands like Google, Wipro, etc come for placements. Even I got placed and joined a company (I won't take the name though) with a monthly salary of 30000 but since I wanted to pursue higher studies so I dropped out of it after attending 2-3 days and realized I cant manage both the things together. For the senior batch, the packages offered went from 3 LPA to 9 LPA.

How is the course curriculum of Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Information Technology) in St Xavier's Mumbai?

NN
Nestor Noronha Posted On : September 21st, 2024

I decided to choose this course because i thought AI and IT would be the future of the plnet as technology goes on advancing. the course does prepare you well enough to face real world applications but even you have to put in the hard yards by innovative thinking and creating something extraordinary. the course has a lot of scope for improvement espically in the area of learning and teaching. the subjects have a very limited time to master which is very difficult to cope up with and also it doesnt go in detail of every subject. instead have a course where students select their strong subjects and focus on it entirely. choosing subjects or finding out which subject is he/she strong in can be quite frustating at times. The exam timings and its pattern is fine where you get 2 unit tests and a final semester paper and you require overall 40 marks out of 100 to pass.
