Should I take electrical in IIT Mandi or electrical in IIT Jodhpur?

My brother was able to get EE in all the second-generation IITs except Indore and Gandhinagar. Despite various options, he chose IIT Mandi after considering a number of reasons stated below.

• Faculty: The Electrical Engineering department of IIT Mandi boasts of an excellent faculty pool comprising young and passion-driven professors who promote research culture. Many professors even have close ties with industry thus making it easier to secure internships and research projects.
• Electronics: IIT Mandi is considered a hub for electronics. The new microchip fabrication lab is advanced and promotes some great ongoing research works in India.
• Electives: There is an ocean of electives to choose from apart from the core electives. This flexibility makes it possible to explore your interests. 
• Campus: IIT Mandi is known for its extremely beautiful campus. Those who are nature lovers will surely love the ambiance here.
