Getting a duplicate marks card from VTU — specific, step-by-step current process.

asYou should first file a police complaint regarding your missing marks cards, they will give you a complaint copy. After that, you can apply for your duplicate copy.

Visit VTU website - VTU Online fees payment, you will find the form for duplicate marksheet.
You need to pay INR 600 per semester for duplicate marks cards. You need to make the payment online, by using the SBI link on the website.
Fill out the form. Enclose the fees receipt with your application. You also need to include the original FIR and an original affidavit on stamp paper of ?20, mentioning the details of USN, Name, semester, month and year of examination of the marks card lost and requesting the concerned authority for the issue of a duplicate of the same. If the original copy is found after the duplicate is issued, it needs to be returned to VTU.

Enclose the form, fees receipt, FIR, and affidavit in an envelope and send it to VTU. You can also visit VTU, by yourself.

Go to the VTU website and make payment for the duplicate marks sheet. Here are some of the things that you need to note.

Pay online only by SBI Payment link and enclose the online receipt of fees paid.
VTU doesn’t accept DD.
You need to submit the original FIR regarding the loss of original documents.
You also need to submit an original affidavit on stamp paper of 20 mentioning the details of USN, name, semester, month, and year of the examination of the Marksheet or Degree Certificate lost and requesting the concerned authority to issue a duplicate for the same. If you find the original at a later date of issue of duplicate, you should return it to VTU.

You can send your documents through courier or visit VTU Belgaum directly. If you visit VTU directly, you will get your duplicate document immediately. Otherwise, you will need to wait for the currier.
