This is my second response here, and I'm thrilled to talk about a place that means so much to me. After spending two years at MNIT Jaipur, I feel well-equipped to share my thoughts. Like any place, it has its ups and downs, but as the saying goes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me, those two years at MNIT were the best of my life. Located in Jaipur, a major metro city in India, the campus is very appealing. It's surrounded by lush greenery and features a big canteen named ANNAPURNA, where you can get basic meals and snacks. Although the hostels are new, there's still a shortage of rooms for girls, with only three hostels for them compared to eight for boys. Each hostel has its own canteen, perfect for satisfying late-night cravings during exams or just hanging out over tea or coffee. The mess food is decent, though not top-notch. There's also a temple on campus that hosts various religious festivals. Plus, there are plenty of shopping spots nearby, like GT and WTP.

As for academics and administration, there's room for improvement. Professors expect students to stay active in current research fields, but getting a simple stamp on a document can mean visiting the academic branch several times. Some of the lecture halls could use a renovation. Typically, the day begins with a sunny morning, attending classes, and ends in a peaceful evening setting. The infrastructure is quite impressive, especially the new PRABHA BHAWAN. I could go on and on about MNIT.

Overall, MNIT gave me two of the most exciting years of my life, where I felt like I lived many lifetimes. So yes, life at MNIT is pretty amazing. Feel free to suggest any changes to this post. Have a wonderful day!

If you're thinking about joining for CSE or ECE, you might want to reconsider because the coding culture is practically non-existent. However, for other branches, it's a solid choice.

Pros:

• The campus is stunning and centrally located in Jaipur, with malls and parks nearby.
• You'll enjoy good hostel and nightlife.
• The campus has AC classrooms, a library, a bank, ATMs, and a post office.
• Hostels also have LAN and WiFi.
• The food is average.
• For CSE/ECE/EE students, companies like Apple, Salesforce, D.E. Shaw, and top US banks do come for recruitment.
• In Mechanical, PSUs like BPCL, GAIL, IGL, and top automobile companies visit as well.

Cons:

• There's no real coding environment or interaction between seniors and juniors.
• Big companies like Microsoft and Google don't come for recruitment.
• Only a few top product-based companies show up.

As someone who just started at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, I can say it's been awesome so far! What I've loved most is the freedom and the calm vibe here.

Campus life is pretty chill. There's no ragging, and the seniors are super nice and helpful. The hostel curfew is at 9:30 pm, but I'm told it might be relaxed soon. Compared to other NITs where my friends have curfews as early as 6-8 pm, this is much better. That's when you really start enjoying your evening, right?

The campus is huge, covering 320 acres of green space. Prabha Bhavan, the main building, is an eco-friendly silver-rated structure. We've got all sorts of sports facilities, although there's no swimming pool. There's tennis, volleyball, badminton, basketball courts, a gym, a chess room, football fields, a cricket ground, and practice nets.

Classes are held in the VLTC, known as one of India's largest lecture complexes, and it's fully air-conditioned. The library is great too. I got lost on my first day there! It's air-conditioned, so you can comfortably study all day. There are a couple of small canteens open till late, a cafeteria, and a big canteen, so you're covered for food.

On the academic side, I can't say much yet, but the professors seem okay. Seniors say it's mostly about your effort. There's strong support for research and start-ups. Plus, there are clubs for just about everything, including HOPE, an NGO.

Connectivity is top-notch since the campus is in Jaipur's heart. The city blends tradition with modern amenities, and everything is close by. Places like WTP and GT are within walking distance, with cafes like CCD and Brown Sugar right opposite. You’ll often spot a pizza delivery guy zipping around campus.

So far, my experience has been fantastic. The student diversity is impressive, and there's someone for everything you might need. You can really pursue your interests here with the freedom and lighter academic load. It's a great spot for introverts and peace lovers who want to explore without too much hustle and bustle.

I am pursuing in Artificial intelligence and data engineering branch.I like many lectures like Vijaya Lakshmi Madam, Priyanka Madam, Dinesh gopalni sir, Kuldeep Singh Sir and many were there.I don't like Amit sir(Environment Subject) because he will be very harsh on students.The faculty to student relationship will be very good,Every lecture interact with students on campus and off campus also iff needed.Mostly all of the lectures have more than 20 years of experience.We have 8 semesters.We will have two exams in a semester.Mod exam will be in second month of semester and end exam will be in 5 th month of the semester.We have relative grading.

We have many clubs like robotics,Drama club,Dance clubs,Chess club, placement and training cell and many.Those who have intrest can participate and it is not mandatory.We have two fests per a year.First we have Technical fest named Sphinx,later in next semester we have cultural fest named Blitz.Both of them were grandly celebrated.We have sports fest names MST(Malaviya national institute of technology) and inter NIT sports also.We have grounds for each sport like football ground, cricket ground, volleyball ground, tennis court, badminton court, basketball court etc

Hostels were very old ,they were built very long ago but they were modified.For first year we have 3 sharing and from second year we have single rooms .Rooms will be allocated according to branch.Mess will totally north Indian food.For south Indians food will be huge problem.There will be no nonveg.We have only boiled egg and ommlet once per a week.I pay ?30000 per semester which is affordable.
