Which is better, VIT Pune electronics or VIIT CS?
According to The Week, both VIT Pune and VIIT are ranked 15th and 100th for engineering. But both have their pros and cons.
Admission:
VIT Pune-
- After qualifying the minimum eligibility criteria, on the basis of national and state-level entrance exam (JEE mains and MHT CET), students can take admission for the electrical engineering.
- In 2019 the cutoff for Electronics Engineering was 3602 (JEE Main) and 129 (MHT CET).
- The first-year course fee for BTech Electronics Engineering at VIT Pune is 1.79 lakhs.
VIIT- VIIT offers a BE program for CS.
- It accepts JEE Mains and MHT CET scores for admission. In 2019 the required cutoff for CS was 2648 (JEE Main) and 135 (MHT CET).
- The first-year course fee is 1.64 lakhs.
Infrastructure:
VIT-
There are three fully functional laboratories devoted to the electronic courses. These laboratories are highly advanced with upgrade technologies. A central as well as a departmental library are also present, filled with thousands of books and journals.
VIIT-
VIIT also offers good infrastructure. The campus is fully air-conditioned. The laboratories for CS are well-equipped to carry out academic and research works.

VIT-
They have 70+ professors just in B.Tech whereas, for the electronics department, more than 13 professors are available all the time.
VIIT-
Along with the department professors, there are many guest faculties who visit the campus regularly. The faculties are experienced and well-qualified.
Placement:
VIT:
- The average CTC of the electronics department is 4.5 lacs.
- More than 100 companies visit college every year including Titan Engineering Company Pvt Ltd, Vedula Engineering Pvt Ltd, Havells India Ltd, etc.
- The highest, as well as the Lowest package of Electronics, are 48 lacs and 4.71 lacs respectively.
VIIT:
- According to the previous year's data, 84% of the CS students got good jobs in multinational companies.
- Companies like IBM, Wipro, Oracle, TCS are some famous brands coming over here.
- 46 lacs per year was the maximum package given in the CSE department.
As the courses are different it is difficult to decide which will be the better option. You should choose the course you are more interested in.
Which is better IPM course in IIM Indore or B.Tech CS in DTU?
IIM Indore and Delhi Technical University (DTU) are both very good institutes for their respective courses. The better option among the two will be DTU if the student is not interested in either the Management course or a tech course. A close senior of mine got a choice between DTU IT course and IPM course in IIM Indore and he decided to go with It course in DTU because: -
- Placement in DTU is much better than IIM Indore for the past few years.
- The IPM course is for 5 years whereas the IT course is for 4 years.
- Students who want to pursue a master's degree like MS or MBA get a better opportunity and have chances of getting a good job offer.

The IPM course now has been converted into a degree course, But still, students usually prefer the 4-year B.Tech course rather than the 5-year long IPM course. If you want to study management after your class 12, then IPM will be a good option for you.
How hard is it to get an international placement after pursuing B.Tech IT from MPSTME NMIMS Mumbai?
L&T Infotech, Mu Zigma, accenture are few of the companies that visit MPSTME Nmims for programs across their engineering division. College has regular bulk recruiters that will recruit 50-60 students. The median package is around 8-9 LPA for BTech with highest package of 21 LPA. MPSTME homes more than 300 companies for its placement process and although majority of them recruit for Indian locations, there are a few companies that provide international placement. And if you have worked on your resume well, no one stops you from applying to your dream company. We have examples of students bagging international offers from even tier 3 and tier 4 colleges in India. So the probability of getting your dream offer is not so dim afterall.

Which is best, IIIT Allahabad information tech or BIT Mesra ECE or IT?
IT In IIIT- Allahabad is a great choice. It is one of the best colleges in India for this field and branch. The course structure is amazing and polished and focuses more on topics related to IT. The course emphasizes practical applications. There are almost no courses that are out of the sphere of field.
The labs and infrastructure are one of a kind and the student culture in IT is very motivated. Most of the students start taking part in competitive programming right from the 1st or 2nd year. If you find coding really interesting and see it as a career, then you should definitely go for IIIT-Allahabad. The coding culture is awesome and people praise it a lot. You will love the college for its study environment. If you feel the passion and love for hardware-oriented work, you should definitely go for ECE.
Placements:

Seeing the wonderful coding culture, the growing alumni base of brilliant minds, and therefore the previous records of placements from IIIT- Allahabad, there’s no lookout for any other college if you intend to be a part of this one.
Talking about the disadvantages, the campus doesn’t lie in the proximity area of any big city or town. The proximity to a metro city nearby is a huge problem. Though BIT Mesra has the same issue, hence I feel that both the colleges are even. A journey to Delhi by train takes a lot of time, probably a one-night trip.
Which is better BS Economics at IISER Bhopal, BTech Chemical Engineering at IIPE Vizag or BTECH Mechanical at IIITDM Jabalpur. I would prefer an interdisciplinary course.
