Nirma University has undergone a lot of improvement in facilities and campus with time in the last few years, along with its advancement in other aspects.

A detailed description of the present life at Nirma University is stated below in points.

  • The classrooms have 6 ACs, individual chairs, a projector, which makes them a lot more comfortable for students.

Are DU college fees really cheap?

AA
Ananya Agrawal Posted On : October 6th, 2022
Economic Honours from Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi

There would have been no disagreement if it was stated that "excluding 1 college" DU's fee is considerably less after scrolling through the majority of the answers. On average, the North Campus colleges charge annual fees between 14 and 19 thousand a month, with the exception of St. Stephen's, which charges between 40 and 50 thousand a month. In contrast, this charge is considered too expensive for a college that is 90% or more government-funded. While a hostel student at Hindu or Miranda will need to budget 60–70k per year, attending Stephen's would cost you an astounding INR 1.4–1.6 lakhs per year (Note: it is called a residence, not a hostel in Stephen's).

This overpriced fee is exploitation, but once a student is enrolled in this college, they will actually understand the distinction between a residence and a hostel. However, the cost, which is practically online with a private college, is definitely unexpected.

The main cause of this is because the college only admits 300–400 students per academic year, totalling 1.2k students throughout all years and courses, hence the UGC funding to the college is proportionately lower. One can understand the kind of contrast it shows, both in fee collecting and the caliber of students, compared to other colleges with a crowd of 5–6k students.

How are the placements in Delhi university??

AG
Aarti Gupta Posted On : November 15th, 2022
MA in Social Work (MSW) , University of Delhi (Graduated 2020)

The placements at Delhi University have a dark side that nobody tells you about. This is because you can experience it only if you yourself are in one of the mediocre colleges of DU.

For the best colleges in North and South Campus or Off Campus (SRCC, KMC, Miranda, Hindu, Venky, SBSC, Gargi, LSR, SSCBS, KVM), placements are not a big deal. This is because they will get you into big MNCs with high packages. Your performance in the interview is also significant.

But here is the dark side. If your college is mediocre and not among the top colleges of DU you will get placements in MNCs but for trivial positions like Customer Service Executives, Process Associates, or Airlines with Cabin Crew. The packages here are as low as 1.5-3.5 LPA.

So it all really depends on which college you are in.

You can apply for your transcripts online, by visiting the official website of the institute. They will deliver to your given address and you won’t have to pay any additional charges. Here are the details of RGPV transcript online process.

  • You need to have your enrollment ID. It is written on any of your marksheet. You also need an active RGPV student account. Go to the RGPV student portal and check if it’s active or not. If it’s inactive, get it activated. You may need to pay some fees to activate your account.
  • Once your account is active, visit the student portal. Go to the ‘Student Services’ option. On the left side, you will see various options. Navigate to ‘Apply transcript’ and click on it.
  • Click on ‘Show my online transcript from’.

Is Jaipur National University as a distance education good or not?

VB
Viraj Bhutoria Posted On : October 20th, 2021
Completed B.Tech from Jaipur National University in 2020

From what is normally heard from the students of Jaipur National University, it would be a good idea to look for other institutes.

  • The customer service of the university is very bad and the support system for education is non-existent.
  • The assignments are more or less the same every year but the answers can rarely be found in the study material provided by the university.
  • There is extra unnecessary information crammed in the study materials.
  • The pattern of exams is pathetic.
  • There are no objective-type questions and the students will have to write essay-type answers which can be very tiring.
  • The grievances are not addressed by the administration neither by mail nor by phone.
  • The results are released about four months after the conclusion of the exams.

The degree is sent to the students after about a year of their completion of the course. The staff here is also very disrespectful and far from cooperative. If distance education is in your plans, then go for IGNOU.
