How can I crack BHU B.Com. entrance exam?
Here are some preparation tips for BHU B.Com entrance examination.
- Revise the 11th and 12th subjects thoroughly.
- Practice MCQ questions and go through the previous years’ questions.
- Practice basic Maths (up to 10th). The entrance examination will have 15 mathematics questions.

- The entrance will have questions about current affairs as well. So, stay updated about the current happenings.
It’s not possible to estimate how many questions you need to answer correctly or how many marks you will need to get a shortlist. BHU cutoff depends on the competition of that year.
Are the NISM exams tough?
The difficulty level of the NISM exams ranges between average to moderately high. For some exams, the contents and way of testing could be more complicated than the others.
- The NISM Investment Advisor Exams (Level 1 and 2) contain more practicals as compared to the other courses.
- On the other hand, exams like the NISM (Series VI) Depository Operations Certification Examination contain a very high share of theory portion in their syllabus.
To pass a module, you need to secure a minimum of 60% in most of the module exams. Also the exams come with a negative marking of 25% per question.
Very few exams like NISM (Series VA) Mutual Funds Distributors Certification Examination have a minimum passing marks criteria of 50% and they do not have any negative marking.

What is the difference between AFCAT and EKT?
If you wish to get into the technical branch of the Air Force you'd have to crack the Engineering Knowledge Test also known as EKT. It is mandatory. For non-technical, flying, and technical posts, the most popular choice of graduates is the AFCAT exam.
The following points can help you in a better way to understand the difference between both exams:
- The AFCAT EKT tests you on Engineering. The questions included are based on different branches and the area of your specialization.
- All questions are structured to test your understanding.
- Both the exams are in online mode and the EKT exam is scheduled after the AFCAT exam.
- You will have to clear the AFCAT and EKT both if you want to work on the ground in technical departments; for the rest only AFCAT is compulsory.

The table will help you understand the basics of the exam pattern. You can see that EKT is a short exam and the syllabus is different because it is more branch-based.
At the venue, of the AFCAT exam, a document verification will take place which will take roughly 1.5 hours. Your photograph and biometrics will be scrutinized and you'll have to sign the attendance sheet. This year the exams are scheduled between 20 February 2021-22 February 2021; you can keep yourself updated by checking the IAF website.
You must know that even after clearing AFCAT and EKT; you will have to perform well in AFSB which will decide your selection or rejection, so be very patient and careful in planning your schedule.
What do you prefer, the GATE or the IES?
I would prefer GATE or IES because in GATE the ratio is 10:1 whereas in IES the ratio is 300:1. This makes IES a very tough competitive exam but in GATE it is easier to get good marks and rank higher as the paper is easy and less competitive compared to IES.
The IES exam is tougher than GATE because here a candidate has to excel both in academics and personality. In GATE the questions are concept based and it is easier to solve if all the concepts are clear. Also in the GATE exam, there are 65 questions and the time limit is 3 hours but in the IES exam there are 120 questions and the time limit is 2 hours. So you get less time to solve all the questions.
After qualifying for your GATE exam with good marks, you can apply to any of the big companies with higher packages and it also opens your gate to apply for PSU.
After qualifying for your IES exam, you will get a job as an assistant executive engineer and after 3-4 years of experience, you will get promoted to executive engineer post. Then after many years of experience of like 20+ years, you will get Chief Engineer posts.
What if I miss the IGNOU BSC practical exam?
The duration of IGNOU BSc practical depends on the credits of the particular course you have opted for.
For example, if your practical course is a 4 credit course, then you have to learn lab work in that particular course within a 13 days period.

At the end of the day evaluate your practical records with your professor.

On the 14th day, appear for the practical examination and viva.
Normally you get a minimum of 60% in the practical exam. You will lose these marks if you miss the practical exam.

Other important details to be looked are as :
- The paper is of 800 marks and the score of toppers lies close to 640-650. The score is translated to percentile after score declaration.
- Above 600; a guaranteed 95 plus percentile is guaranteed.
- The scores are compiled percentile wise of three sections; quantitative skills, verbal skills and analytical skills.
- The target should be close to more than 120 questions plus an approach to avoid any loss of marks due to negative marking.
- ATMA is one of the easiest management exams , so it’s easy to score a decent percentile in it.
ATMA is one of the easiest papers to look up to in the management field. It encompasses a lot of good colleges and has a light curriculum as compared to CAT. Aspirants should definitely try to score a good percentile in it.
How many students are expected to write the KVPY exam to get into IISC Bangalore?
Firstly, KVPY is not the entrance exam of IISc Bangalore but a scholarship examination for students. IISc Bangalore itself does not have any admission test and admissions are given to top rankers in entrance exams like KVPY, JEE, and NEET. So everyone getting a KVPY scholarship is not offered admission to IISc.
One of my friends gave the KVPY exam in 2013–14 for the SA stream. In her selection letter, it was mentioned that 1,05,000 had written the KVPY exam for all streams. Today, it has gained more fame so the figures are expected to be at 1,20,000 and 1,50,000.
However, I don’t think you should be worrying about that yet because the selections are not limited to a specific number and keep increasing with the increase in those appearing for the exam. So, everyone who deserves this scholarship does get it.
How can I clear my Maths 2 Exam in UPTU / AKTU / MTU? I have a great job and no time for this.
Honestly speaking, it is never possible to clear Maths 2 with just a one-night study session. Therefore it is suggested that you avoid such last-minute attempts and just rely on the book N.P. Bali.
This book contains some previous year’s questions. Try mugging up all examples and concepts thoroughly from this book and practice more on previous year’s questions. Also focus on the last chapter wave equations, heat equations as these are frequently asked. You need to dedicate just 2 hours daily upto 1–2 months to get prepared.
It is assured that you will be getting more than 70 marks on every next attempt. Try to cover all the pages provided to write, it matters most in AKTU/UPTU.
How can I crack the BHU entrance exam for BSC AG?
Cracking any entrance exam is not a cakewalk. It required hard work and determination. Similarly, for BSc AG at BHU, you will have to start preparing quite early.

What is the minimum pass marks in IGNOU for a BCom at A F?
The passing marks in IGNOU for any subject are as follows:

Assignments - more than 50% ( 50 out of 100)
If you get 35 marks in theory out of 100, this means you have passed in that particular subject and don't have to appear for exams again.
But if you score below 50 in assignments, then you have failed and will have to resubmit your assignments.
