- The university has invested a lot in marketing and that is why there’s hype outside.

IEM Kolkata is an average college. The academics and facilities offered aren’t good for IT. Alumni of the institute who are well-established in the IT sector received the opportunities based on their talent and expertise. If you have other better options, you should choose them over IEM.
As per the recent placement highlights, IEM Kolkata average CTC was INR 5-6 LPA. While the highest CTC offered to the student of this branch was INR 42 LPA.
Why should someone choose IIT Delhi over IIT Mumbai for CSE? Except his/her AIR.?
There are two sides to every coin. Similarly, there are many reasons why one must choose IIT Delhi over IIT Mumbai and vice versa. To make it further understandable, I have listed some common pros and cons of IIT Delhi
Pros
- You are in proximity to the capital city
- It’s easy to prepare for some other exams also apart from Engineering like IAS
- Hauz Khas village in itself is an absolute treat to the eyes
- Being in Delhi makes it possible to go for road trips to Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lansdown, Rishikesh, Dehradun, Agra, etc.
- The Delhi Metro makes commuting quiet easy
- There are many places to explore and hang out with your friends in the vicinity of the campus.
Cons
- CS department of IIT Bombay is way better than IIT Delhi offering a plethora of diverse courses.
- The campus of IIT Bombay has more natural landscape and greenery in comparison to IIT Delhi. This enhances the climate and overall ambiance inside the campus
- Unlike IIT Delhi, the hostel facilities are much better at IIT Bombay while Delhi hostels are overly crowded.
- Delhi faces extreme climatic conditions whereas the weather of IIT Bombay somehow remains the same throughout the year.

How is chandigarh university for btech cse?
I am here to give you a very honest opinion based on my brother's experience at Chandigarh University. The university does everything but imparts good quality education and is more like a money-making machine. The points below will clarify my point further
- The faculty pool comprises ignorant professors who are just Master graduates from CU itself. All their lectures are copy paste material and the classes are extremely monotonous with no dynamic or practical approach at all. These professors have no area of expertise and teach different subjects in different semesters
- There are illogical restrictions and very tight schedules. You don’t get to roam even after classes are over and if you don’t reach the block by 9 30 am, you will find it closed.
- The syllabus is exhaustive and chaotic comprising so many irrelevant theoretical subjects making students rote learners with minimal understanding of concepts
- No additional skills like coding, data analysis, and programming are taught. Everything is taught with a theoretical approach with no hands on experience.
- A huge number of assignments and projects are assigned meant to be completed within a week leaving no time for additional activities or studies.
- There are attendance policies requiring you to maintain 75% attendance with strict reprimands like debarring
- The college is not exactly located in Chandigarh but in the outskirts in a village area with no transport facilities.
- The hostel and mess facilities are appalling
No doubt, the college has a lot of companies coming for placements but the scenario for that isn’t very different. So, I will recommend you to go for any other engineering college after proper research.
What is the difference between Techno India University and Techno India Salt Lake for B.Tech?
Techno India University and Techno India Salt Lake share the same campus, but there are some differences that set them apart.
- TIU is a self-financed private autonomous institute. While, Techno India, Salt Lake is affiliated with MAKAUT.
- For each stream, TIU follows its own syllabus. While Techno India, Salt Lake follows the syllabus of MAKAUT.
- Techno India University Fees are higher. A B.E or B.Tech from the institute will cost around INR 2.68 Lakhs to INR 6.32 Lakhs. Techno India Salt Lake changes around INR 3.67 Lakhs.
Placements are almost the same at both institutes. Given a choice between these two, you should choose TIU because of its administration, advanced curriculum, and better infrastructure.

Comparing IIIT Hyderabad and BITS Pilani cannot be done in terms of with as both are reputed institutes. However, they can be compared on the basis of individual parameters.

- Coding: IIIT Hyderabad
Now it’s up to you to decide which factor will affect you the most. In my opinion choosing IIIT Hyderabad over BITS Pilani is a no-brainer as IIIT Delhi is the best when it comes to CSE. Its curriculum is designed exceptionally well. Apart from this, it fairs well in terms of modern technology, infrastructure, faculties, placements, and greater opportunities for higher studies and research. The only institutes that give IIIT Hyderabad an edge are IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore. You are bound to gain a lot of fun experience and knowledge at IIIT Hyderabad and won’t regret joining it ever.
However, this definitely does not mean BITS Pilani is not any good. It’s just that the outcomes offered by both institutes are different. If you want to go for MBA or Government Services in the future, BITS Pilani is a good choice as it offers a wider range of opportunities in contrast to CSE at IIIT Hyderabad which is suitable only if you want to stay in this field till the end.
Should I opt for DTU mechanical or IIIT Delhi CSE?
The choice depends on what matters the most to you.
If placements, faculty and research opportunities are your top most priority, choose IIIT Delhi CSE. In this respect, IIITD CSE beats DTU Mechanical by a large margin. But if you want the best of campus, college environment, cultural fests and brand name, DTU Mechanical is a much better choice.
I would personally recommend IIIT Delhi, as it offers top notch placements. But if you’re truly passionate about Mechanical, choose that branch. Do not take your interest for granted while choosing your branch/degree.
How is the B.Tech CSE course at Bennett University?
Bennett University is known for its engineering courses. The B.Tech CSE program available at Bennett University spans 4 years duration with a total of 160 credits. Additionally, there are 14 minor specialisations available under B.Tech CSE so that students can choose their preferred course. Interested students must have passed Class XII with Physics and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks or a minimum score of 24 with IB Board. The selection process includes the consideration of scores of the best three subjects in Class XII Boards.
Curriculum: Bennett University B.Tech CSE is offered under the School of Computer Science and Engineering Technology. The course offers flexible and modular choices of Minors, Honours, Open Electives, Audit Courses, Two Internships of 8 and 16 weeks respectively, and a one-year internship in the final year. Scholarships: Applicants of B.Tech CSE at Bennett University can also avail of scholarships based on their merit in Class XII (Best of 3), JEE Mains 2024, and IB. Which one is better, JSS Noida, Galgotia, Ajay Kumar Garg or Amity University Noida (for BTech-CS) ?
JSS Noida is the best option, among these. It offers excellent placement opportunities. According to the recent highlights of JSS placements, around 80% of students from the CS department get placed each year. The average CTC received by the student of the branch is around INR 10 LPA. While the highest CTC received by the students is around INR 40 LPA.
Since JSS Noida is located near the IT hub of Delhi NCR, it’s easier to placement and internship opportunities.
