You have a very decent rank in the girls' category but still, this rank is not so good for you to get into ECE in IET Lucknow.
You might get a seat in other branches like Civil Engineering or Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering though the chances are few.
Cutoff for B.Tech for the general girl category (2020) –
| Branches | Cut off |
| Chemical Engineering | 2111-2428 |
| Civil Engineering | 1600-2290 |
| Computer Science and Engineering | 131-319 |
| Electrical Engineering | 912-1157 |
| Electronics and Communication Engineering | 730-856 |
| Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering | 1146-1717 |
| Information Technology | 337-427 |
| Mechanical Engineering | 1506-1931 |
However, do not worry you will get a good college with a good branch.
A friend of mine had a similar score and he got admission to Manipal University. I cannot give you assurance but there is a chance that you might get a seat with this score.
According to the previous cut-offs, the branches you may probably get are Mechanical, CSE, ECE, IT, CCE. You also have a chance of ending up in the EEE department. There is a small chance of bagging a seat in a final couple of rounds, however.
You can also give the university another shot, though. If you manage to obtain a score of 120 or higher, you run a high possibility of getting into branches that have more promise, other than the ones mentioned previously. You will also have more freedom to choose with a higher score.
NITIE Mumbai offers admission to its PGDIM and PGDISEM programs through the GATE exam. The selection process at NITIE Mumbai takes into account several factors such as GATE score, academic performance, work experience, and performance in the selection rounds (GD, PI, and WAT).
The GATE score is the primary factor that is considered for shortlisting candidates for the selection rounds. However, the cutoff GATE score for admission to NITIE Mumbai varies from year to year and also depends on the number of applicants and the availability of seats.
Based on previous year trends, a GATE score of 714 in Electrical Engineering (EE) is a good score, and you may have a decent chance of getting shortlisted for the selection rounds at NITIE Mumbai. However, admission to NITIE Mumbai is highly competitive, and several other factors will also be taken into consideration during the selection process.
It's also important to note that the selection process at NITIE Mumbai is dynamic, and the cutoff scores may vary from year to year. Therefore, it's best to keep an eye on the official website of NITIE Mumbai and stay updated on the admission process.
Honestly speaking, with a rank of 71549 SC Category, there are zero chances of making it into any NITs. But if you hail from northeast states like Sikkim and Mizoram, the closing Rank for these NITs SCS category goes up to 10.5 lakhs under the home state(HS) quota. So admission to NITs is possible only if you belong to these states. Another option is to go for some private colleges/state government colleges that might grant admission on the basis of your JEE rank. Else, the last option is to take a drop year and score better next time.
I have a friend who recently graduated from NIT Goa. According to him, for the home state, you should score around 160. Although it may vary since the mark required is increasing every year.
According to the 2021 cutoff trends, the required cutoff (HS) for CSE is 14581. For more information on the cutoff, you can go through the JOSAA website.
There are high possibilities that you will get it. There are three rounds of selection in IIT Gandhinagar. If your rank is 3500 and the first round cut-off is 3880 then there are high chances of getting selected by the end of the second round.
Looking at the cut off the trend of the last few years, then it is quite clear IIT Gandhinagar released quite decent ranks throughout. In 2019, the cut off for the mechanical department was 4476 whereas in 2018 the cut off was 4229. So having a rank of 3880 is not bad and the possibilities of getting selected are quite high.
For selection, rank is not the only thing considered in IIT Gandhinagar. The scores of the 10th and the 12th standard of the candidate are also considered. In the two-step selection process, the rank is considered first and then the Board’s scores. Then finally, the top percentile candidates on the list will be selected. Although certain advantages are provided to the SC/OBC candidates in terms of ranks, the seats are allotted differently for the general category and the SC/OBC category which do not overlap each other during selection.
IIT Bhubaneswar is the first choice for most of the students when it comes to mechanical. When you will be selected in the first allotment there, IIT Gandhinagar will not be that challenging and by the end of the second or third allotment, you may get selected.
If you are from the general category, then it is a bit difficult to get MAIT with a 5,160 rank in the spot round. However, you can try for the Mechanical branch in the third round of counseling.
Among MAIT, and BVP the former is the better option when compared in terms of academics, opportunities, and placement records of past years. The placement statistics recorded as per the latest recruitment drive are as follows for both the colleges.

One of my friends attends IIEST and here is his insight regarding cutoffs.
Your rank in JEE mains seems to be 5-6k more than the cutoff borderline for receiving admission into Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. According to the recent cutoff trends, the required cutoff for Metallurgy and Material Engineering are as follows.
It would be difficult to get in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering with your rank. Your admissions in any branch are never guaranteed solely on the basis of cutoffs as the cutoffs drastically change in the case of JEE. The cutoffs provided are an approximation of your field of choice.
219 is a decent score but getting an interview call from NMIMS Mumbai would also largely depend on other factors like the competition pool, the difficulty level of the exam, and the admission policy of the institute.
If we see the past trends, NMAT cut-offs for the main campus are usually around 230-235 with the sectional cutoffs being around 98-99. NMAT 2022 was not one of the easiest so it is speculated that the cutoffs would go down a bit as compared to last year’s.
But I would still suggest not keeping your hope high and a backup option. Even if you clear the overall cutoff, your sectional score might create a problem for you. With this score, you could get calls from TAPMI, and KJ Somaiya.
