What should be the order of colleges for choice filling in MP DTE counselling among SGSITS, IET-DAVV, JEC, and MITS?
Well, it completely depends on you and what type of college you want to take admission to. However, consideration is always for the college’s placement process, branch, reputation, and location.
Every one of you must have different desires regarding your aspirations for educational institutes. It mainly includes good placement opportunities and location. You should decide as per your subject choices because some of the branches are good enough then its reputation and ranks in some colleges.
Besides, it can be mentioned that you must choose the city first over college. The reason behind is that all of these are the Government institutes, so, at the end the degree matter, because you need to study on your own.
Indore must be your first preference as it has huge exposure than the other cities. The maximum number of placements will be happening in this city during your final year. Everybody wants to be recruited by the companies at the end of their course, which is less in the case of JEC and MITS.
How good is Karunya University?
Karunya University is certainly one of the most sought-after engineering colleges. It does have a religious environment although students aren’t forced to participate in any such activities. It has a very well-maintained Infrastructure with many experienced faculties, most of whom are P.hDs. They have MOAs signed with foreign universities.
Karunya has an IAESTE chapter on their campus that facilitates students to go abroad for internships. Karunya also has its own campus radio and TV channel that airs cricket and football matches.
Overall, you will get many opportunities to showcase your talents.
What is the highest package offered in DTU?
DTU Placements 2022 wrapped with 2459 offers. The students were offered 14 international offers of more than INR 1 CPA.

Is IIT Kanpur B.S. physics good or should I go with IISER?
Both IIT Kanpur and IISER provide excellent quality education but IISER has a slight advantage when it comes to the quality of research conducted.
IIT Kanpur
- IIT Kanpur provides you with the necessary exposure and brand name.
- The students can be seen as more interested in jobs than in research work. The environment at IIT Kanpur is not conducive to cutting-edge research work.
- The professors limit their teaching to the extent that students become excellent employees for outstanding companies.
IISER
- No compulsory attendance rules yet the classes are packed with students.
- The professors are very learned and approachable. The quality of education they deliver is top notch and students are always approaching professors to get their doubts cleared
- There is great harmony between the juniors and seniors and ragging is forbidden. There are heterogeneous groups of students every year
IISER provides an excellent environment for students who want to become future scientists and contribute to society. It will also open doors for Ph.D.

IIT BHU is counted among the top engineering institutes in the country. For B.Tech, IIT BHU ranking in India is 14 by NIRF 21. The ranking declined in 2021, compared to last year. Which is better, IMI Delhi PGDM or IMT-G PGDM Finance?
Both the options you mentioned, IMI Delhi PGDM and IMT G Finance are good in their own individual aspects. So you should rather be asking which is better for you. Now this depends on what you really want from your PGDM. By choosing PGDM Finance you will limit yourself only to the Finance sector, whereas a PGDM core will give you a chance to explore various domains before selecting your specialization. The former is a good option if you are certain about your interest in Finance and want to excel in that sector no matter what while the latter is good if you are open to all options.
Talking about IMI Delhi in general, the B School offers an abundance of opportunities through student bodies and other student driven activities. Moreover the additional locational advantage is what makes it a fairly good option. The batch size is also not too big and thus balances the student teacher ratio.
Placements are pretty decent at IMI Delhi. The IMI Delhi average package (overall) offered during 2023 placements was INR 17.01 LPA. For PGDM, PGDM (B&FS), and PGDM (HR) the average package stood at INR 17.20 LPA, INR 16.48 LPA, and INR 15.58 LPA, respectively.
The primary highlight of the B School is its student exchange program wherein students from foreign universities join the B School for a fixed period while students from IMI Delhi visit a foreign university in exchange.
All these factors make IMI Delhi a very good choice in comparison to IMT G.
Is it possible to earn a B.Tech from a regular college and a BSc from IGNOU simultaneously?
As per UGC rules, students can do two courses simultaneously, provided one is in regular mode and the other is in distance mode. The degrees can be from different streams as well as from different institutions. So, it’s entirely possible to do a B.Tech from a regular college while doing a BSc from IGNOU.
What is your in-hand salary after a PGDIE from NITIE Mumbai?
The placement scenario of NITIE Mumbai is excellent and the packages offered to the students of PGDIE are very good. According to the final placement report of 2021 of NITIE Mumbai, the highest job offers were from Consulting and IT sector with 44% of students getting placed.
The highest CTC offered was 44 LPA with an average package of 20.85 LPA. The average package offered to the top 10% of students is around 37.38 LPA and for the top 20% of the batch is around 32.92 LPA.
These packages offered are generally higher than what is offered in other colleges and students get the opportunity to work in top companies in diverse job roles.
