Why is AIIMS Patna the best according to you? How's the mess?

ZS
Zaira Shah Posted On : June 5th, 2023
MBBS at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna.

AIIMS Patna is a prestigious medical college but like every college it has its own pros and cons. However, it’s still a highly coveted institute and the below points will tell you why

good but along with that, it has way too many flaws also.

  • Single room with all the basic amenities one could ask for
  • The most coveted and valued AIIMS tag
  • No rural bond means no postings in villages which are usually very challenging
  • Campus life is always lively with many events and competitions that help you grow as a person.
  • Another glittering aspect of AIIMS Patna is its diverse student body with students from various cultures and states studying under one roof
  • The infrastructure of the campus is amazing and it's huge
  • The few are very few for namesake. It is INR 5856 including hostels
  • It is an institute of National importance.

However, the food served in the AIIMS Patna mess is just average and sometimes it’s hard to even feel full. The hygiene levels are also low despite it being an institution of national importance.

The best way is to withdraw your mess charges and eat at the canteens Doctor's Mess or Moti Mahal which provides decent food at subsidiary rates. You can also order food from Zomato/Swiggy. The mess situation is expected to improve in the near future.
