Honestly, the hostels at DTU are a mixed bag. I’m currently staying here, and while the rooms are basic, they are manageable. The cleanliness is okay, but it could definitely be better. Overall, it's a good way to dive into college life.

Honestly, if you’re considering B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from DTU, go for it! The college is one of the top institutes in India, and being in Delhi is a huge advantage. The placements are stellar; in 2023, the average package was around ?25.22 LPA! Plus, the internship opportunities are through the roof, with companies like Google and Microsoft actively recruiting. The fees for the first year are ?2,29,000, which can be a bit steep, but there are scholarships available for deserving students. Overall, DTU has a fantastic community and campus life that makes the experience worth every penny.

I’m currently pursuing my MBA in Business Analytics at DTU, and I can confidently say it's worth it! The curriculum is designed to give us practical knowledge, which is really helpful. We dive into topics like Python and predictive modeling while getting hands-on experience in labs. The faculty is super supportive and always available to help. As for placements, companies like Deloitte come to campus, and the average package ranges from 7 to 9 lakh. Plus, the campus life is vibrant with various clubs and activities, making it a well-rounded experience.

Direct admission to DTU is not possible! To secure a seat, candidates must go through the JAC Delhi counseling process. This includes:

• Choice filling
• Seat allocation based on JEE Mains scores

Campus events like Engifest really light up the semester. Sure, the workload can be tough, especially with moderate question papers, but with around 2000 students, there’s always someone to hang out with or collaborate on projects. I’m looking forward to my MBA after this!

Not many colleges in India offer Environmental Engineering. After 2–3 IITs, DTU ranks next in line for this course.

• Number of offers in 2017–18: 29 (Batch strength is around 50)
• Government job options: DMRC, CPCB, DPCC, DJB, Coal India, GSEC, etc.
