How is IET Lucknow in terms of campus facilities?
IET Lucknow is a pretty old college. As it is quite old you cannot expect the infrastructure to be in a good state even though there is lots of maintenance. My sister used to be a student of IET and here is some of her insight on the institute.
- The infrastructure of the campus is very old.
- The classrooms are not as good as they should be. There are fans in the classroom but not many are in working conditions. Overall the infrastructure is fine but not as attractive as a good private college or any IIT/NIT.
- Hostels are very good for 1st and 2nd year and have some sports facilities too. All mess has AC and the food they serve are better than most other colleges.
- The hostel life is good although there is some restriction for girls as you cannot go out after 8 pm. But things are changing and I hope you will have a better experience.
- In IET you will get a lot of exposure through various clubs like EXCELSIOR the literary club, Abhivyakti-the magazine team, IET Whiteboard- Media team, IET Josh - the drama team, and many others.
Though IET is an old college, it is Government College and cost-effective. The one who doesn’t get into IITs or NIT’s for some reason can join IET. ECE and CSE are most reputed in IET.
How good or bad is IIM Indore Mumbai campus? Worth taking admission over there?
It is worth it to take admission to the Mumbai campus of IIM Indore. The coursework is rigorous and the faculty of the Mumbai campus is just as experienced and capable as the ones in the Indore campus.
The number of recruiters is increasing every year and the highest package is also seeing a rapid increase with each passing year. The companies do not hesitate to visit the Mumbai campus and treat it with the same respect as they treat the Indore campus.
The peer group in the Mumbai cause is also very good and you can expect to get excellent guidance from your peers and faculty. Through guest lectures, networking events and alumni meets; the campus generates and nurtures strong ties with the industries. The location of the institute is also a huge plus.
At ISB, do you get to select the campus between Hyderabad and Mohali?
When applying to ISB, you will not have the option to choose between the campuses in Hyderabad or Mohali. Instead, you will have the opportunity to indicate your campus preference during the application process, but it should be noted that ISB may or may not take this into consideration. This is done in order to maintain equality between the two campuses so that neither campus students feel like they are at a disadvantage.
While in rare cases, ISB may take your specific location preference into consideration, it is highly unlikely. It should be noted that even in cases where requests for campus change have been made for reasons such as family or health, ISB has denied such requests. This is a reflection of the diverse student body that ISB attracts.
How are the international trips hosted by Doon Business School?

How is campus life in IIT Gandhinagar?
To answer it in just one word “amazing”. My fellow classmates also agree to the fact that studying in IIT Gandhinagar is in fact amazing. The following points will give you an overall idea as to why -

What is the first day like at NIT Jalandhar?
My sister is an NIT Jalandhar pass out and when asked, she narrated her experience of her first day at the institute.
The classes were scheduled to start at 8 am so everyone was almost awake by 6 am. They waited for their chance to take showers. Then they left the hostel for their classes.
The rules for the first-year students were pretty strict during the initial months. Students were just allowed to go back and forth between their hostels and classes. They could not explore the campus at all initially. So they had no idea where their class was located. The students were given the timetable of the classes. Each subject had a specific code. After a little struggle, they found their classes and attended their first lecture at NIT Jalandhar. The labs were easy to find as many roommates were in the same batch.
How is your life going in AIIMS Raipur? Is it correct it lacks faculties and even students left it for government state medical college?
At AIIMS Raipur, life is simply amazing. It has all of the amenities that any decent college should have, and possibly more. It has a large library, 10 to 12 cadavers, well-equipped labs, and everything else a medical student needs.
The faculty members are incredible and helpful. They are always ready to guide you. You should not let rumors mislead you.
Can you give a brief description of IIM Sambalpur (pros/cons, campus life, placement, hostel life, faculty, facilities, and anything else that you can add on)?
In the middle of picturesque hilltops in Odisha, IIM Sambalpur is situated. Here, you can wake up to beautiful sunshine and humid weather every morning, which will give you energy. However, this morning brings with it a rush to finish eating breakfast and get to the academic block in time for your classes.
The Academic block is a short walk from the Hostel blocks. Our classrooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, comfortable seating, and modern equipment. We have experienced faculty from a variety of backgrounds, both in-house and visiting institutes such as IIM A, B, C, XLRI, and others.
After classes, your day spins around in all directions. In the evening, you typically attend meetings and enjoyable events from various clubs and committees that are put on by students. If you don't have anything like that, you can go out with your friends to the Hirakud dam, Right dyke, or take a long drive all the way to the main city for fun. You can also participate in those based on your interests, hobbies, or preferences for volunteer work.
Following dinner, some students participate in outdoor sports such as badminton, cricket, football, and so on, or indoor sports such as chess and table tennis, or watch television in the common room. You meet your academic groups, project groups, and so on to do the work, which usually takes most of the nights in the hostel block's discussion areas.
However, these moments of shared work always strengthen batchmates' bonds. Some of the pros and cons are mentioned below:
Pros:
- IIM Sambalpur is located close to a large number of big industries, providing opportunities for real-life experiential learning for students.
- The Innovation and Incubation Cell (IIC) of IIM Sambalpur helps in the promotion of startup development and has recently partnered with Flipkart to support small weavers and artisans.
- As a new IIM, students have the opportunity to witness the development of the institute from its core.
- IIM Sambalpur has consistently been ranked 2nd amongst the new IIMs and holds a position among the Top 30 in the overall MBA Universe Ranking 2022.
- The institute follows a Flipped Classroom methodology, which is a unique concept aimed at promoting overall development both inside and outside of the classroom.
- IIM Sambalpur has the highest gender diversity among all other 3rd generation IIMs.
- The location of the institute is away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan areas, providing a peaceful and calm environment amidst the rush of MBA life.

Cons:
- As a 3rd generation IIM, the institute is relatively new and may take some time to fully develop.
- The institute follows a schedule with working days on Saturday and Sunday, which may not be suitable for all students.
- Students may be compared to graduates of older and more established IIMs, which may be an unnecessary source of stress.
What are the best things for Acharya Nagarjuna University students to do on weekends?
There are a lot of things you can do during the weekends. A few of them are as follows:
- You can visit Amaravati, the people's greenfield Capital City of AP, which is under progress.
- You can also visit the newly built temporary Interim Government Complex at Velagapudi near Mandadam village in Amravati city.
- You will find one park in the IGC apart from the greenery at Assembly complex. The officials of the Capital Region Development Authority, CRDA, planted different species of plants from across the world.
- You can enjoy the night food courts in Vijayawada, between 10 PM to 2 AM.
- If you prefer eating out, go to Guntur and enjoy a delicious meal.
- In Vijayawada, you can enjoy South Indian tiffin at Modern cafe Besant road.
- If you prefer watching movies, you can go to Hari Hara, Shiva, or Naaz theaters at Guntur.
- You can also visit Capitol cinemas or Swarna palace at Vijayawada.
- There are options to go to Amravati and have a darshan (see) of Lord shiva or go to Vijayawada, have darshan of Kanakadurga goddess.
The list of things you can do goes on. You will not be able to visit a lot of them due to regular classes. But whenever you get the opportunity do visit these places as they will make your mundane life a bit interesting.
How is the one year executive MBA at IMI Delhi?
To ensure that you make the most out of the one-year executive MBA at IMI Delhi, it is essential to have a clear understanding of your goals and objectives. The program is designed to provide you with rigorous academic learning and exposure to the corporate world through lectures from industry professionals.

Placements are decent, but they do vary based on your background, function, and previous work experience. It's important to note that the Executive PGDM program and the two-year PGDM program are completely different programs, with differences in pedagogy, learning outcomes, and even placements.
Overall, the program is still picking up, and the college is doing its best to build it up. If you're looking for a fast-paced, challenging program that will prepare you for a successful career in management, the Executive PGDM program at IMI Delhi could be a great option for you.
