Doing B.Tech in Automotive Engineering at DTU has been a great choice for me! The curriculum is comprehensive, covering both theoretical and practical aspects, which is crucial for our field. The campus life is amazing; there are so many societies and fests to participate in! I got to know that the average stipend for internships is around 25k, which is pretty good. Even though the placement percentage is a bit low this year due to external factors, companies like Maruti and Honda are still coming for recruitment. If you’re considering this course, DTU is definitely one of the best options available!

DTU does offer an AI-based learning environment, particularly in courses related to economics and data analysis. The faculty comprises experienced professors, many of whom are doing research in AI fields. The infrastructure is also impressive, with well-equipped classrooms that facilitate modern teaching methods.

While I focus on my studies here, I can see that the college is actively trying to incorporate AI into our learning, which is essential for our future careers.

I chose DTU because I got a seat in a reputed college in Delhi, and I’ve been enjoying my time here. The course structure is solid, and while the fees are a bit higher compared to other government colleges, around 3 lakhs for three years, I feel it's worth it. The placement stats show that about 20-25% of students find jobs, with the highest package touching 13 LPA. Companies like Amazon and Byjus have visited, although their responses can be a bit slow. Campus life at DTU is vibrant and full of energy! I’m currently pursuing my degree in economics, and the atmosphere is quite lively, especially during the annual tech fest, Engifest, which happens every February. It attracts a lot of artists and is a great way to unwind. Plus, the classrooms are well-equipped with AC and projectors, which make learning more comfortable.

One downside is the fees; I think the 5,500 rupee charge for a backlog subject is too high compared to other colleges in Delhi. Overall, though, I’m enjoying my time here.

The fee structure at DTU / NSUT is uniform for all categories of students, with no concessions based on caste. However, there are some fee reimbursement schemes from the Delhi government based on economic criteria:

  • Families enrolled in the National Food Security Scheme receive 100% assistance.
  • Families with a yearly income of less than ?2.5 lakh receive 50% assistance.
