Which engineering college is the best: Jamia Millia Islamia or School of Engineering Cusat?
Comparing School of Engineering CUSAT and Jamia Millia Islamia is not suitable as both the colleges are well established and are holding their culture and curriculum really very well. So, choosing either of them would not be easy.
But, as far as I know, Jamia Millia Islamia was established 100 years ago and is better than SOE CUSAT.
Jamia Millia Islamia will offer you a productive and competitive environment. You will also get to do lots of extracurricular activities and will get to learn from highly efficient teaching staff in JMI.
In CUSAT, you might be taught by recently graduated teachers. This will not only affect the teaching methodology but a good exposure as well.
CUSAT is nicely harnessed and handled by various Political parties for their own benefit. You can see a few strikes now and then among students and parties. But it should not be your concern as you are going to study there and grow productively.
Which is better for ECE, IIITDM Jabalpur or IIIT Naya Raipur?
IIITNaya Raipur and IIITDM Jabalpur are affiliated by UGC. Both institutes offer admission in on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main and for M.Tech, a valid score in GATE is required. IIIT Naya Raipur offers foreign internship programs of 6 months duration for 20 students

Which college should I choose among NIT Nagpur and NIT Surathkal?
One of my friends is an alumnus of NIT Surathkal and was in awe of it since the beginning of his academic program.
- That institute is better than most in terms of campus life, placement, rank, and other essential parameters.
- It has a 90% placement rate in 2020 and ranks #13 on the NIRF ranking portal.
- Despite its excellence, my friend used to say that if you have a choice available, don’t go for NIT.
- Over the years it will come to your notice that the whole system is a scam, and although it has excellent facilities and good basics it's really overhyped.
- You'll find that any other good engineering college will have equal or better opportunities for you.
- If you can, try taking admission to a university that supports your dreams, which is the right fit for you - do not opt by just checking the placement rates. As it is untrue.
Another friend of mine was in the third year of chemical engineering in NIT Nagpur and felt as if he did not gain any technical knowledge after studying for three years. This is something overlooked by most 'excellent' universities across India and they do not allow students to question it. Therefore, if you have a better option available- go for that, not any NIT.

According to my friends at NIT Agartala, it does not provide good placement opportunities and the highest CTC of the college is also decreasing day by day. But the placement at IIIT Allahabad is much better in comparison to NIT Agartala. The ECE placements are not better than CSE but you will get a good job from there.
