• The infrastructure and facilities of the university are really well-maintained. 
• Good classroom, spacious library, labs, all are available and this campus also has a huge sports ground and has its own hospital within the campus. 
• The faculty of the university is quite helpful and well-qualified in their particular fields. 

Datta Meghe College of Engineering

• The infrastructure and facilities of the university are okay in comparison to Bharati Vidyapeeth. 
• Libraries, big classrooms, equipped air-conditioned labs and all are available. The food quality of the canteen is average. 
• When we talk about the faculty then it is okay, some teachers are also Ph.D. holders. 

Both the universities are good but if we talk about the best then definitely Bharati Vidyapeeth University is really better than Datta as the placements, facilities, ranking everything is far better in the university than Datta Meghe College of Engineering.

Both of them enjoy a highly reputed NAAC accreditation and rankings from esteemed associations. The choice between the two institutes for CS or IT depends on certain basic factors some of which are discussed below in detail.

• BVP holds an A category in NAAC third cycle conducted in 2017. It has more than 23000 students with 1600+ faculty members. It is a diversified university with students from 48 countries.

• Manipal University has the 6th rank among all universities in the north zone. Best University in Rajasthan Award 2020 is also rewarded to the institution.

• Manipal University offers B.Tech CS /IT at a fee structure of Rs. 12.01 Lakhs as a full-time course of 4 years duration.

• The university also offers a B.Tech Lateral program of 3 years at Rs. 4.27 Lakhs

• BVP University offers a B.Tech program for these two specializations at Rs. 4.8 Lakhs.

Eligibility:

The details about the selection process are as follows.

• Manipal University offers a minimum criterion of 10+2 with 55% marks. MET /JEE score is mandatory for B.tech admission. A direct admission facility is available but that solely depends on the marks obtained.

• Bharati Vidyapith accepts 10+2 with 50% marks and a BVP common entrance test score.

The choice can be done on the factors mentioned above. Bharati Vidyapith is a credible option but Manipal outshines in the most important domain which is placements. However, Manipal is a good option for pursuing CS/IT.

Amity is one of the most popular universities in India. Admission for BBA in this university is mostly based on merit then followed by group discussion or personal interview. The placement rate of this course is also highly appreciable.

Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune

• The application fee for BBA from Bharti Vidyapeeth is 1,200 INR. 
• Likewise in Amity, admissions are based on merit. Students should have completed their 12th class with at least 45%. There is a relaxation of 5% for SC and ST students. 
• With this students should also have to appear for the B-UMAT Test followed by an interview and counseling.

Amity University

• Companies like Amazon, She’ll, Indian navy, Accolite, Google, Extramarks, Hyundai, etc visit campus in search of good placements. 
• The average salary package offered to students is up to 4.5 lakhs and the highest package is up to 30 lakhs. 

Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune

• Companies like HDFC Bank, BYJU's, Infosys, Amazon, Vodafone, Honda, Syntel, HCL, MetLife, etc visit the campus every year. 
• The average salary package is 3 lakhs and the highest is up to 12lakhs.

The infrastructure of both universities has an eco-friendly atmosphere. All the facilities like a big library, gym, food outlets like Dominos, CCD, etc, salon and so on are available on campus. Teachers are highly experienced and very helpful, though the attendance criteria are a bit much.

Amongst the top universities, NIRF has ranked Bharati Vidyapeeth University 54th. For IT and CSE, the university offers undergraduate and graduate programs.

The B.Tech admission is based on the entrance exam score (CET) which is conducted by the university and a valid score in JEE Mains or MHT CET for any seats remaining. For M.Tech, a valid score in GATE is required which is followed by counseling.

Information Technology

• Curriculum: The IT department developed by the experts of industry and academicians has highly equipped laboratories with an upgraded curriculum. The department possesses specialized laboratories in Software Engineering, Multimedia Computing, and Operating Systems.
• Student Association: The IT student association conducts expert lectures and several events. Additionally, the focus is to provide technical knowledge as well as teach communication skills along with giving work experience on live projects. 
• Training: To keep up with the latest trends in IT, in-plant training has been incorporated in the course. For in-plant training, companies like HCL, TCS, DRDO, Zensar approach the university.
• Faculty: Highly qualified faculty is a perk for the students pursuing UG and PG courses in IT.

Computer Science Engineering

• Infrastructure: At both undergraduate and graduate levels, the department has highly innovative and teaching capabilities in the field of computing technologies.
• Faculty: The well-experienced faculty maintains the vibrant teaching environment through seminars as well as industry-institute interactions.
• Quality training, value education, and hands-on experience are the key focus points.

Placements

• In 2019, a total of 132 companies visited the campus with 578 students placed. The average salary offered is INR 18.5 LPA. The top recruiters include Honda, Zensar, L&T Infotech, Torrent, Capgemini, Syntel, etc.
• For 2019, B.Tech Information Technology had the highest placement percentage of 100% whereas, for M.Tech Information Technology, the placement percentage for the year 2018-19 was 71%.

The IT and CSE department at Bharati Vidyapeeth has a state-of-the-art infrastructure that enhances the student's potential to explore in their field of studies.

One of my friends is studying at Cluster Innovation Centre and he has shared his experience about the institute. The following points are based on his experience only:

1. Academics: A total of 256 credits will be there in your degree. The course is not the same as other colleges. You will have subjects Data Structures, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Algorithm Design, and many others. In the second semester, there will be choices given to select your major subject among Electronics and Embedded Systems, Management and Economics, Computational Biology.
2. Faculty: The faculty is very good in terms of experienced teachers especially for mathematics but the newly appointed teachers are average like the one in the Computer Department.
3. Fees: The fee structure is very low as compared to the other colleges in India. It is as minimal as INR 5000 per semester that counts up to a total of INR 40000 for your degree. Also, the hostel room including mess will hardly cost you INR 4000-5000.
4. Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent with the installations of Wi-Fi in all the rooms. They also have projectors and an air-conditioned center. The college is located near the ground which was also used in the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The college also provides the facility of Gym, Table Tennis, and Badminton at the cost of INR 250 per month. It also has a library accessible for the student of CIC.
5. Exposure: The Institute is well connected with the other colleges like SRCC, Hansraj, Hindu, and many others. It is easy to get exposure and attending their events is actually a great deal. CIC is not highly active in cultural events and clubs.
6. Crowd: CIC is a central university and is very crowded. It is surrounded by students from all over India.
7. Placements: It is definitely not a strong part of CIC as they don’t have their own Training and Placement cell and they focus more on start-ups for which they also provide funds up to 8 lakhs. In terms, of placement, the alumni of the college will be of great help, and also the students get PPO in their internships. CIC provides 4 internships in their curriculum.

Whether you want to join it or not, it totally depends upon you. As per my friends’ experience, he had a hectic curriculum during his course. But it came out to be one of his top choices. The quality of students is great at the institute and it is increasing with every batch.
