• Education & Experience: Firstly you need a UG degree, i.e. BA LLB from a recognised university like NLSIU. After that, you need to have at least 7 years of practice as an advocate, pleader, or public prosecutor. 
• Exams: You need to qualify for the High Courts or Public Service Commissions (PCS-J) of the respective state to be appointed a judicial magistrate. For this, you must sit for a written exam, interview, viva voce, and 1 year of post-selection training. After serving for a minimum of 3 years as a judicial magistrate, you’ll become a district judge.

NLSIU Bangalore offers a Student Exchange Program for BA LLB (Hons). The exchange program is a great means of expanding one’s knowledge base, gaining fresh insights, and creating a wide professional network. To be eligible for the program, one must be in their 5th year. The duration of this exchange program is 2 trimesters only. Yes, a branch upgrade option is available for B.Tech students at IIT Bhilai. It is permitted only on the basis of the following criteria:

• The cumulative CGPA at the end of 1st year. Grade distribution will be employed to break ties.
• Any discipline's total enrollment cannot exceed 110% of its allocated capacity, and no discipline's enrolled capacity may decline by more than 20%.

Yes, IIT Bhilai offers a part-time PhD program. Working personnels such as engineers, scientists, teachers, etc., who can not attend the regular PhD classes are eligible for the sponsored part-time PhD program. 

The applicant must be engaged professionally in a relevant field, and be employed by a recognised organisation. They must regularly be available for discussions and meetings with their PhD supervisor. At the time of admission, the candidate must provide an undertaking; a No Objection Certificate from the employer. This will ensure that they will be available for coursework.

The general eligibility criteria for the PhD program is a valid score in UGC-NET or GATE, and at least 60% of marks in post graduation. To apply for the PhD program, the candidate must fill an online application form available at- https://www.iitbhilai.ac.in/index.php?pid=phd_admission 

They must add their personal information, educational qualification, and other details as per instructions. The application fee is INR 200 for GEN/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, and INR 100 for SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates.

The IIT Bhilai campus is spread across 442 acres of land. Its built-up area is approximately 1.5 lakh sq. metres.

The IIT Ropar Physics Department was established in 2009 with an aim to deliver high-level teaching methodologies and top-notch research work in advanced areas of experimental & theoretical physics.

At IIT Madras, you’ll be provided with a hostel room at the time of admissions. But if you want to live outside the campus, you must check out some PGs or Rooms nearby.
