I am a B.Tech student at IIT BHU. According to me, our institution is better than IIT Dhanbad in several aspects. Here are some of them-

• IIT BHU was originally established in 1919, giving it a richer legacy than IIT Dhanbad, which was established in 1964. 
• IIT Dhanbad is mainly known for its courses on mining and earth sciences, So it is an excellent choice for someone who is interested in those fields. However, IIT BHU has an established reputation for its studies in a variety of specialisations. 
• IIT BHU ranks better in various rankings as compared to IIT Dhanbad.
• IIT BHU has a larger and more diverse alumni base across various industries.
• IIT BHU offers a wider range of research work and collaborations.
• IIT BHU generally offers better placements than IIT Dhanbad.

At IIT BHU, you’ll form social connections with students/faculty members from various academic spheres, and not just engineering. This is because IIT BHU is a part of the reputed Banaras Hindu University. 

Overall, IIT BHU is better than IIT Dhanbad, the only exception being if someone is highly interested in mining and related fields. 

NLU Kolkata is one of the top law colleges in India. It is ranked #4 by NIRF 2023 Ranking for Law. NLU Kolkata offers a BA and BSc in Law. These are the courses offered by our institution- BA LLB (Hons), BSc+LLB (Hons), LLM, MSc, and PG Diploma.

The placements at NLU Kolkata are good. In the 2022 placements, a total of 118 job offers were received, and the median package range was between INR 15 LPA- INR 18 LPA (for domestic offers). For admission into the 5-year law program at Jamia, you must first sit for their entrance exam- ‘JMI BA LLB 2024’. The application form for the same is released on the official website jmicoe.in 

This year, the entrance exam was held on May 11, 2024. The entrance exam contains 150 questions on legal ability, legal language (English), Maths, Current Events and General Studies. To be eligible for the exam, you must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% of marks in core subjects and English.

Yes, NALSAR does accept the IPMAT exam for admission to its 5-year integrated BBA+MBA course. Take a look at the detailed eligibility criteria for the program:

• Candidates are eligible if they have passed their Class 12 examinations from an accredited board with a minimum of 60% overall (or 50% for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent CGPA.
